I was there at the park today, we arrived just before noon, there was roughly a 20min wait time for GL, which was great, meant we could do many rides, scooby was about 40min, road runner was 10min, and batwing was about 25min, didnt do other rides as my niece didnt want to do the others, GL was fantastic

i was there today, from noon till the end of white christmas and let me tell you that movieworld were in fine form today, customer service were rude and grumpy, grunting at people asking about when GL would be open. had lined up for 45min for scooby got to withing 4 ride cycles of getting on it, then all the lights came on and we were told that the ride was needing a quick reset and there would be a short delay, no more then 30 seconds later the entire line approx 300 people were told the right was shut till further notice and we were rudely told to exit the queue further more to this, staff were telling us GL was open so many of us were waiting in line to board and was told that after 200 people in the line that the ride was at compacity for the day and was once again rudely told to leave the queue line apart from that the only praise i give them today was during white christmas, lethal weapon and superman were pretty much walk on

Might actually make those passes worth upgrading to... i agree with Richard here, i hold a vip gold pass as well, and really think this would be a great idea, also having a gold pass night to the fright night and white christmas so we dont have to deal with the park full of 14yr olds ( i dont mean to offend the 14yr olds that are on this site) but it would pay dividends to those willing to fork out for a gold pass, make it worth while, yea we get "free entry" to these 2 events, but then we have to deal with the very long lines for the rides..

i was at fright night last night and was very impressed with the show that took place where hollywood stunt show normally is, congrats to mw for doing something different. i found the mazes to be boring as they werent scary in my eyes, the fog that was pumping throughout the park and mazes must have cost the park a fortune, too bad they cant pump that amount into scooby.. but the fog coming out of random drains, buildings was great, 10/10 for themeing last night, most of all the ride experience at night on superman and lethal weapon was unreal, and to be back on topic, being up close to green lantern was great, it looks amazing so far with them about to put the first drop track in place, you get a feel already how great the coaster will be, from the ground, it looks massive!!!

i thought i put down for tonight when i got my ticket, but its next saturday lol opps, anyways its was thundering here in oxenford at the start of the night so im glad i got the days mixed up

they have been fixing up the street lights along entertainment rd

it would be great to have a wooden coaster on the coast.. having recently moved here from syd, it would be great to ride a woodie again, i miss the bush beast, used to go to wonderland every weekend just to ride it i liked the fact that it was rough, and felt out of control, and the smell of the wood adds to the experience

skycoaster looks completed from the outsideof the park when looking in... the cables for the towers are up for the winch ect, im going tomorrow to see when it opens as i want to go on it will let you know

i was at dreamworld on saturday, althou it was busy for the last weekend of the qld school holidays the wait time for most rides was 15-25mins and 45min for tot2 im really disappointed in the revamped tot, dont get me wrong, the theming in the queue line is much better, there were people in the line scratching their names into the paint on the walls the new pod looks great, the tunnel theming is well done my biggest let down was the actual ride experience, when being checked by the attendant that the harness was locked, the light effects for the turbine started, it gave an impression you would be moved closer to the "turbine" before being shot up the tower, which i fast learnt to be false, the experience of going in reverse was great, then on decent back into the tunnel we started slowing down as soon as we got into the opening of the tunnel which i thought was sad, by the time we got halfway up the tunnel we were at walking pace to the load/unloading bay while i thought this was only a once off, i then went on it another 3 times on saturday, and found this was common practice i used to get excited to ride the old tot, not anymore the giant drop was only using the side that faces the carpark

everytime i drive past during the movie times from the road it looks like most are open hope that helps

jusr a quick question, the past few nights as i have been driving home from work, i have noticed on top of the tower around the top there are new lights that are constantly on changing colours, sorta resembles led rope lights or something as such, does anyone know what these are for?

does anyone know what the upcharge is on the sky coaster? cant wait for it to be open

a fly coaster for wnw, well from my past experience i have riden the now closed fly coaster in surfers manytimes in the past yr, but to have a perminate fixture in a water park i find odd, maybe movieworld where they could theme it, but what the heck, the structure looks very sturdy, massive round poles, at first i thought they had brought and installed the old wonderland parachute thingy that stood doment next to flycoaster at surfers when is the open date?

hey guys, im back its been a while, i have alot of stuff from WLS, including signs, flags, parts of the bush beast. i am looking at selling 2 items, 1 is a large yellow flag with the purple wonderland syd logo, its about 2.4mlong and 1.5m long also wanting to sell my space probe sign (it is the one that as attached to the mini space probe as u were walking up to the queueline. its the fast facts part of the sign that tells you how fast, how high, ect. i was thinking of putting them on ebay but not sure. i also have the fun and safety sign for the bushbeast WHICH I WILL NEVER SELL. ihave alot of other stuff like keyrings, posters ect that i may look at selling soon. if anyone is interested email me on rayshipp@unwired.com.au or ray_shipp81@hotmail.com for those in sydney and are intrested you can come look at them. regards Ray

Does anybody remember the TV show that was on ch7 just before the ride SP7 was launched? it was hosted by Melissa George and Deiter Brummer, l think it was called the making of SP7. Does anybody have a copy or knows how to obtain a copy?
