Honestly I've ridden this twice and think its a great traveling ride.

Second train gets used every school holidays, and I assume is used in standard rotation also.

Village also did nothing with WnW and SW for a long time. It might be more that they have a 1 track mind and multi-tasking is hard

I'm not a horror guy at all so could be well off but I doubt its Zombieland 2. Zombieland is a zombie based comedy, not a horror and in my opinion wouldn't fit the bill. Either way I personally won't attend but hopefully the changes this year are improvements.

I agree with everything you said except these two points. Now it has the extended tunnel, I agree it cuts the park in half, previously with just a track I thought it was fine, no issues. The tower its self is obviously iconic. The noise is also super loud but I've always thought it made the atmosphere. I have strong memories as a kid wanting to be as close as possible to it when it launched and loved hearing it go and would always turn to watch as soon as I could. I've not been to dreamworld in a good 7 years but its still a strong good memory memory.

They are brilliant photos. Would love to see some more from other parks when you come back. (SeaWorld 2020??)

My 5 Y/O stepson is Terrified / In love with Storm. Its the perfect "Step Up" ride for him and makes him want to be just that bit taller for more rollercoasters. I should mention hes super tall for his age.

Ideally, to combat the removal of Wipeout and ToT, they should announce a rollercoaster and announce a conversion of GD, starting 6 months or so after the Rollercoaster opens.

Is that not just called Climate Change?

If you take a helicopter at night, does it count as a dark ride?

Unlikely. 1st you need other young people to read or listen/watch the news, 2nd you need them to understand what they are talking about and the consequences, 3rd they need to understand that it could be them if they did a similar act and 4th, you need the news to actually report on the sentencing, which will likely be a throw away line if anything at all.

Was that ride a Zamperla Discovery? I can't seem to find information on it apart from the ride was called a Discovery and Zamperala make number of different pendulum rides varying in size called variations of "Discovery". PS if people want to see the video is currently on every news website.

I think Crepe would be a great idea, but no need for a whole bar. Copy what Asia does and run it out of a stand. That way it can be moved, brought out on days when required and change ingredients depending time of the day or season.

They will. Just way too late. Thats a hopeful of what they should do.

If the replacement is targeted at the same group, they are best holding off advertising/announcing until after Trolls leaves so people with kids in that age feel rushed to visit and then also visit the new attraction rather then just wait for the next attraction. If they were smart they would host a leaving party and announce the new attraction for that location at the party.

As @Brad2912 points out, Gary Weiss personally bought $12m in Ardent shares so maybe there is an announcement coming soon, but as we saw with DCR there can be a literal rollercoaster in the front yard of a park and they still could pretend it doesn't exist. Also, DW haven't always been kings of ideal planning with works happening during holidays quite regularly. The short time frame to me though is what I find most interesting. Unless its the wrong dates and they will be updated/removed next week. 🤷‍♀️

Whats weird is its only 1 week, not the normal 3-4 for maintenance, and its also two rides on the far side. Maybe (hopefully) there is construction works happening in those areas that causes unavoidable closures?
