  1. If they got either, I would be buying my family passes in a heartbeat.
  2. Thanos snaps his fingers and half the land disappears. MCU at it again!
  3. Its not we hate comparisons, its more that the comparisons need to take all the factors in. On the surface just by giving the price, that seems like a great deal, but factor in the throughput of Disney (the entire park) vs Aussie parks and suddenly you can see Disney can offer a lot more fast passes, so to sell all of them they have a slightly lower price point. MW on the other hand has slower operations and can only offer less passes, so the are able to increase the price, making them more money while still meeting demand. Not saying I like the concept or anything, just business really. Comparisons are great, but don't cherry pick small facts to suit your story. Show the whole picture or its worthless.
  4. Well yeah. The locals pay almost nothing for park entry compared to tourists, so its just another way to get more money from locals, and getting them into the park hoping they buy more F&B and merch.
  5. Thats great and all, but how long until we get the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
  6. Yeah, I don't think I've seen the coaster operate off the tracks.
  7. Footprint: 20mx4m Safety Envelope: 16mx35m So it would fit. Just. Might need to move some things around though. I doubt it would ever happen though. But if BGH Capital want to make money selling VRTP, having Doomsday as it is will not help in anyway.
  8. That number of rooms is also required for business conferences.
  9. If this truly is the case, they need a 'Gentle / Extreme' queue... but yeah this sign is poor.
  10. Bold of them to assume Dooms Day will be open on the 4th of February
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they are the only doors that are (were?) outward swinging. All other doors have been sliding.
  12. What Slick said, but to expand/elaborate, our winter is not really what other North nations call 'winter' and their largest holiday period, their summer is our winter.
  13. Love the idea but hate the execution. The shade sail poles should be on the other side of the fence or from the grassed area reaching right over the path.
  14. Sure but it didn't officially open until 286 days (1/10/2017 - 14/07/2018) If you want to point out timelines, DC Rivals is a better comparison still being a hypercoaster and located at the exact same park. Groundwork started in Sept 2016 and Opened in Sept 2017, 1 year (365 days for those who are still in school) Apples for Apples, actual construction started in April 2017 and opened 22/9/17, 174 days. "Ground up Hypercoaster in 174 days. Just saying." Dates sourced from Wiki. DC Rivals HyperCoaster - Wikipedia
  15. Honestly, if they were keeping it and upgrading to a newer model, they likely would need to upgrade that stuff anyway right? Its likely gone, but potentially could be required for an upgrade? Just being stupidly optimistic/hopeful.
  16. Is it just the track installed or have the electrics/launches been done also?
  17. While everything you said is true, there has been a lot of movement in the last few years, since the investment firm came in. Nothing amazing, just doing things you expect, but they are actually doing them all now (with exception of DD, but that ones very obviously an issue that they are aware of).
  18. Time to think vertically. Parking can be put into a parking lot. Cooking can be done on level 2 of a building. Same with staff facilities. Main St is supposed to be multiple stories high, why not actually make it that and go up. I mean I know, cost ect but if my local car dealership can build a parking garage to store cars to be delivered or serviced that day, I'm sure Village could spend a little here and get back some space.
  19. Why make big expensive change when you can do small cheaper (quicker?) maintenance.
  20. I don't think retrofitting it for modern launches would have been overly difficult, I just think the park recognised the money better spent elsewhere on rides with better returns/throughput/new rides to bring new and old rather than reviving an old ride.
  21. Nope, its worse than that. Its a digital egg.
  22. Sorry, are you complaining they haven't abandoned a paid add-on?
