  1. both Rivals and Superman were down for majority of today, Rivals opened up later in the day but im pretty sure Superman didn’t at all, along with Green Lantern (atleast GL was planned.)
  2. If a ride goes down for a delay and it is expected to be longer delay, the ones that know how to operate other rides will be sent and the ones who have only been trained on the ride that is now closed will stand at the front of the line to deal with guests. once the ride is near reopening and ready to do cycles, the staff that were sent away are sent back to reopen the ride. Most staff who are trained on multiple rides do rotate throughout the day, from my understanding rotations happen every 1-2hrs or sometimes longer depending on the crowds and how many staff are on.
  3. Superman was reopened by the time the park closed, it did a couple cycles with guests before 5.
  4. unpopular opinion, but i don’t mind Vortex being at Sea World. yeah it wasn’t the smartest idea, but for what it is i think it looks good in its location and at least for my age group it’s a good filler ride. however, it is unreliable, so i don’t think you should replace an unreliable ride with an unreliable ride (even if Vortex isn’t as bad as Doomsday, it still goes down quiet a bit.) I think a ride like Tundra Twister at Canada’s Wonderland would be a great Doomsday replacement, it’s a big, bold and unique flat ride for Australia, seems like it’s reliable and would pull in some good crowds. I think a Super Air Race should replace Vortex (even if it’s similar to Serpent Slayer), you could have soft and hard style to appear to a wider audience, they’re reliable, they look amazing, besides that i’m not too sure what would be a good replacement that won’t look awkward in that plot of land.
  5. The entrance to the expansion looks to now be complete, with the splashpad and dodgems progressing at steady pace along with the rest of the area. theme_park_ogre
  6. The Flyer’s main operating component went in this morning, with other structures such as what im guessing is the electrical room, possibly operator booth and the rides queue going vertical in the past couple days. Jaggsjourneysau.
  7. I’m glad they’re taking a risk with leaning more towards the non-IP mazes as they have been some of the best they have produced in recent years, i just hope they can pull it off well. I’m going to assume DCeased is meant to be the headlining maze for the year, however im curious on the maze locations. Even though DCeased is being made out to be the headliner, will it have the old IT location or will Circurse, as the facade fits the theme and the surrounding precinct is the typical Clown area. I could see them maybe putting both mazes in that building, having Conjuring and Death Row share the same shed then having Hellship have it’s own shed.
  8. DCeased has now been announced as the 2nd new maze for this years event, called it. Movie World Instagram DCeased Maze Page
  9. ‘The Conjuring Universe’ maze promo has now been posted on Movie World’s instagram page. When looking at the maze’s page on the website, i noticed there seems to be an added room this year, i’m going to assume the maze has been updated to accomodate the 8th film in the franchise, The Nun II, which is being released in the coming weeks.
  10. Here is our first look at the new Big Red Boat Coaster. (dw_goldenyears)
  11. Kenny’s Forest Flyer has now started testing, the trains and the new colour scheme look great, however i still do wish they got new Vekoma SFC trains. RPReplay_Final1691995786.mov (Greg Yong)
  12. It looks like they will not be purchasing a new train for Flash, as seen in a new promotional video. (Movie World Instagram)
  13. I think the new mazes will be 2 horror 1 DC, with the DC one counting as the “original” maze for the year. My bets are still on Scream and Evil Dead. (could be false, only time will tell) but from what i’ve heard, it’s meant to be Superheroes have been infected with some type of virus, explains why after the attack more people are being “infected.” If this is correct, my bet is that the DC maze will take up the IT location, with the other two new mazes going in the Doll Haus / Zombieland shed. I wish they’d use WB Showcase as a 5th (so the 3rd maze out the back could be bigger) / 6th maze location in between swapping out the exhibits, or even if they used the Scooby castle for this year instead of an “exclusive club.”
  14. notice how they weren’t posted at the same time, it’s almost like you can have conversations with people and find out information 😮 from what i’ve heard they’re planning on adding the Superhero’s to the event, explains why it starts with a billboard of the justice league (which i don’t believe is even normally in the park) then cuts to someone being thrown through the sky and crashing down onto a table. only time will tell if this is true or not.
  15. most years, even as far back as 2016, have had initial teasers that put emphasis on a headlining maze, and with how well what i’ve heard is coming this year matches up to what the video shows, i highly doubt it will be any different. just look at the first shot of the clip and you’ll get what i’m saying.
  16. Fright Night teases normally yk, tease the event and specifically the headlining maze. Last year’s teaser teased all 5 mazes but put emphasis on Annabelle and the scene at the end of the video, they wouldn’t have a teaser unless it’s teasing something in the event.
  17. The first teaser for this years event has been released, I’m going to guess the headliner Maze will be a non-IP Maze this year as i can’t really tell what IP this would be. Movie World Instagram
  18. It looks like there is 4 more extra escape rooms this year, with their being 8 and only recalling there being 4 the past couple years. I hope wild west gets some of cool overlay that involves actors in the ghost town section, however will it? who knows. The Underground Package will involve some sort of rave party in the scooby castle as well, with only two drinks pre-paid per person. Im kinda shocked they didn’t think to add a 6th maze this year in the Castle, atleast while they had the opportunity too.
  19. I heard Beyoncé is showing up for a stop of her Renaissance Tour (i didn’t i’m just delusional.) i’m really interested to see what this events about, considering Fright Nights announcements will be starting soon i won’t be shocked if this event is announced in it’s entirety within the next month, let’s hope they execute it well.
  20. the next area they’ll pay attention too is most likely the Villains Unleashed area. they clearly know Doomsday has little life left, so i won’t be shocked if they’re already planning for what is replacing that area. I think the Wild West section is one of the least likely areas to be redone.
  21. Im not sure why everyone keeps mentioning Superman’s doors being closed, they’ve been operating the past couple times since i visited, i haven’t seen them closed since like 2020/2021.
  22. They‘ve used IP’s from different properties outside of Warner Bros so these could also be a possibility. Im very curious if there will still be an Arkham side entrance to the mazes that loop back around WWF or just a one way entrance at WWF. I wonder if they could make it come back through the supervillains unleashed area so it’s still a full loop.
  23. the train simple wouldn’t launch. if it did launch and the switch track somehow moved even an inch, after the train left the LSM’s, the LSM’s would catch the train instead and stop it instead of launching it backwards. besides that, this is real random.
  24. I doubt Saw would get another maze considering Jigsaw was only in 2017-2018. The Nun II wouldn’t get a maze either due to the Conjuring Universe maze, however i could see an extension or update to the maze to include the movie. My guess is there would be 2 IP mazes and 1 original. A couple weeks back fright night advertisements were filmed after hours, and i saw a photo of what looked like Vampires / Zombies (if i can find it again i will add it later.) So my guess is that the non-ip maze will involve one of the two. IP’s i could see Evil Dead Rise and Scream. Scream VI did great in the box office and is apart of a much beloved franchise, while Evil Dead Rise also did great and is apart of a pretty well known franchise. Other movies i could see happening would be Insidious, The Boogeyman or Cobweb.
  25. More of the ride has gone up overnight (Movieworld Instagram)
