  3. Movie World have done a big update to their website what are your thoughts on it.
  4. They did refurbish it last year I think but doubt they spent 2 million on it if they did they were scammed. I don't know what you mean about bringing sally back in is that a joke of some sort or ?
  5. I strongly disagree @New display namePerfectly hit the mark on How bad Movie World is at the moment. This didn't start yesterday it started over a year ago so why do you defend them it bogles the mind🤨 .

  9. Are you joking?. Most of these rides have manufacture requirements that team members are instructed to check all belts with a visual inspection and pulling to check the belt is secured. You see it on DC Rivals and ST Mack rides have said The staff have to be the one to plug in the belt riders cant that is in line with their requirements. This doesn't include the Work place rules in Australia.
  10. Exactly which is why I have not renewed my annual pass. Until they give me a reason to renew my pass I won't be.
  11. The thing is I don't know who to blame I'm not saying what the staff are doing is acceptable by any means but they seem really unhappy at the moment which is sad to see for their sake. The workplace culture there looks horrible and I hope it improves for everyone's sake. Thanks for letting me know about the reporting thing if anything like that happens again I probably will put in a report.
  12. Just because you haven't had any issues with platform buckets doesn't mean anyone else wont. The storage boxes at all the parks say you leave your items at your own risk they wouldn't put that there if people haven't stolen before.
  13. I fully agree with you I did make a assumption and going of google reviews is not practical I own that mistake. But I'm being serious at least from my point of view it seems like Village Price gouge on everything. Now every corporation does that. Dreamworld do it to but they big difference is that they are not as blatant at doing it. Movie World has increased prices and decreased their offerings. it seems like everything at Movie World is a up charge and all the free attractions are in a horrible state. Removing VQ and keeping fast track is what put the nail in the coffin for me. I don't know where to go from this but every time I go to Movie World I feel ripped off. I went with my good friend a couple of Months ago and we went on Wild West Falls as we sat down he still had his hat on. The staff member asked him to remove it but he didn't hear as he has bad hearing and the staff member made a comment calling him deaf and when he said it again he did it. But people don't pay $200 to get in to get treated like that. We didn't report him but we should have.
  14. I understand that it came across that way but with a lot of the reviews I have been seeing a lot of people said they weren't given refunds. here is an a example there are more clear ones from earlier but this is all i could find.
  15. At this point they shouldn't even be open on weekends they need to get their shit together. If people are paying full price for the park and not even getting half the park its amazing people haven't reported them to scam watch and things like that considering they probably don't give refunds. Its so disappointing with current state the park is in. And with all the bad reviews a lot of them I see talk about how rude and anti social the staff our. If the staff cant even put a slight smile on their face you know your in for a rough day.

  17. I think you nailed it. Either way I only ever go on SE when its quiet cause standing in a 1-hour que with no phone is annoying. Me like most people hate ques but when you can't even carry your phone with you just drives me insane. I don't use my phone that much unless I have nothing else to do.
  18. Dreamworlds marketing recently has been horrible. It would be great to seem they do what Village is doing but with their own kick. I Rember watching their old vids on YT back in the day and they were awful as well. From memory that segment was called Dreamworld insiders I'm pretty sure. It was the cringiest thing ever and not in a good way 🤣.
  19. Yes indeed but its still going to be a different ride experience so you cant really compare them. If it was comparing Blue Fire to ST I would understand that.
  20. Considering there both different rides they are going to be completely different. I don't know what you mean by making it less like ST it's going to be faster obviously to get them at the top so its a stupid to compare the 2.

  23. Its good they are doing it but its just for good pr for the parks otherwise they wouldn't do it.
  24. I agree with this fully. The main issue with the way the parks does it now is that it almost never opens in time for when it was marketed for and then throw in the issues and kinks every new ride has makes it a bad look for guest to see it closed during peak times when the extra capacity is needed. Lethithan is a perfect example of this the delays and the constant down time of construction killed the buzz and hype of its opening. Ultimately when it did open it was having constant issues with extended periods of downtime and the media had a frenzy talking about the disappointment of people flying from other parts of the country to ride it for it to be closed. Try telling this to BGH @wikiverse
