Wrong, whilst the ride plays various clips including the wild wild west music video this IS NOT the pre show video you used to watch before boarding the ride at all. And the ride has not been 're themed' but the theming at the second turntable has changed since opening.

I had completely forgotten about that at HKDL, but it looks freakin awesome! I think it's better than everest just from the video (and having ridden everest). And I recon that Premier coaster is exactly what dreamworld should have gotten.

It's also actually water and not 'smoke' like in a smoke or fog machine. But it does not make anything damn due to the way it operates.

This will be great for both parks. When WWW was built many people said it would be doomsday for WnW but it was just the opposite. Competition is great for businesses and this will be no different. I agree about the taboggans... Would be great to add a 3rd more extreme course as a lot of slow idiots get on the advanced course. If you're lucky enough to get clean brake free run on the advanced course it's still one of the best out there.

Public would go nuts for a crazy woody but no park here is gonna touch one for the upkeep. The almost tropical climate doesn't help this either.

I think keep the basis of the mine theme, perhaps use the mountain as the station but come up with a way to get a spinning mouse in there. That's the gimmick you new to market the ride as a new experience. To be honest a simple facade like that isn't expensive in the grand scheme of a new ride so demolishing much if it to get the increased envelope space wouldnt be I feasible.

Yeah heven forbid having to pay a whole $30 for a whole night out at HFN or Xmas... This is the problem, that's a great deal for so much entertainment but people have gotten in their head they should get this for free.

Really a good full circuit coaster is probably the best option for the park. If it was up to me I'd have something like Tatsu at the park but that's totally unrealistic. Maybe a solid floorless hyper or something?

I think buzz saw is an awesome ride, it looks crap from the outside but the ride experience is pretty hardcore. It's just a little bit of too little too late. The park has some work to do it pull itself out of a hole. But to be fair people were saying this about the other parks a couple years ago so...

Nope sadly enthusiasts often are a strange breed of their own. For some the need to sand and discuss and compare technical ride statistics whilst in line simply can't be surpressed and that can be hard to take. Alternatively a good fun day out, some laughs and a couple beverages is quite enjoyable IMO.

How the hell did this one slip through under the radar! I don't care what the roughness is this coaster style is still the OMFGWTHJH winner hands down. The high cost of ownership is a big downer but still the only ride I've ever been willing to que for 5 hours for 2 rides and still been happy I did it afterwards to boot!

Not quite. It's the parks online to sell tickets but it's not myfun. Two different things.

$109 is still a ridiculously cheap deal. I say any pass under $200 is still undervaluing the product and worth the buy.

It's been confirmed that Sally is building the ride. Check their website for their past work, it is extensive. This ride however is rumored to be a whole nother level, I think we'll all be blown away.

I agree, I think the audio really adds something to Green Lantern. Arkham I argue doesn't need it, whether it makes it even better I will wait and see. But the audio helps Green Lantern with pacing, the ride itself is great and quite thrilling but its more a series of OMFG moments rather than a fast paced in your face kind of thrill ride. The audio helps to tie the elements together and complete the ride.
