Movie World Fright Nights 2016
rappa replied to Jay Jay The Jet Plane's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Don't know if I love that. I enjoyed the atmosphere of being able to sit outside the UTT Lounge and be amongst the park still. Not tucked away in Legends which is a horrible old space. What is actually in the old Stars Cafe location? Itll be interesting this year as I feel the fountain area will be a lot quieter without people heading that way to the two hero mazes. -

Guys there are many of these attractions in the US already. I think it's safe to say they've worked out how not to kill people. Lets move on to another topic of discussion. -
Not a photo of Movie World's new coaster

The power lines in the background have US style towers. It's not in Australia. -
Now this is done, is there a copy of the investigation available anywhere?

That's a lot of Movie World, you probably deserve a medal for that kind of extreme patronage! -

Any atmospheric effect is going to be greatly affected by weather/ temperature. -

To hit theoretical capacity you have to use 30seconds for an unload/load cycle. That is never going to happen in an Australian park. The figures Janine posted are really not bad at all for that ride. -

Lol that would be kinda funny. -
I recon the ride was to be called Rio Bravo but then an opportunity came along to license it to a film so they went with that. Does anyone know the real story?

You're kidding? The GM of the park actually reads THESE forums? Are you sure? Why haven't we heard him ever mentioned before?

Probably the worst video ever created ever...

The park employees probably are affected by wondering why anyone's biggest concern at a time like that is how it affects a theme park.

It's a park map. I think this is all a bit overly dramatic for something that's gonna end up soggy and in a bin shortly after being handed out. -

The hum is usually from the track design of B&Ms with the thick spine. -

To me it sounds like the best implementation of VR I've yet seen/heard of. -

Perhaps just use the spoiler tag to describe the experience? Im not sure what is happening but these forums were once a place to come and share enthusiast scoops or talk about new park developments and experiences. But seems of late they have become more like "hey there is stuff at the park, not going to tell you about it or show you, so go check it out for yourself". I'm not a fan. -
Dreamworld - no new roller coaster 2017-18?
rappa replied to Jamberoo Fan's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I don't see why people are trying to make other people change their opinion on which park is better. It's an opinion, everyone is entitled to their own, doesn't make it right or wrong. -
Knotts food I actually found to be the most overpriced of any park anywhere.

Hopefully today the ridiculous notion that Scooby parts (what parts do you all even think they are? Scooby's annual maintenance is for the track and lift, cars are re-built all year round) are being stored out front of the park can be put to rest. -

If it is indeed a hyper, no amount of fence is going to hide it as you drive it. Or from the highway a few Ks away for that matter.
