100% of Australian parks bad ride capacity is staffing and procedural and no ride vehicle will fix that.

Train would need to be modified to work with the automated restraint system at Cyclone but other than that no reason.

MW Mini Driving School - Officially Confirmed

Yeah Alex, the video on mermaid is definitely deceiving, you'd like it. Don't agree on the demographic thing there, Disney's demographic is everyone. And there was such negative backlash that imagineering justified going in and changing it at considerable expense. And it's not finished yet. I give you the point on Small World. The lighting install/ ceiling is rough as guts But for me it's the plastic trough through the building that's even worse. -

It's a funny one you know. Because part of you says you want the attraction to stand up to adult and enthusiast scrutiny, but the other part says that it's about what the target audience thinks. And I recon the kids are gonna love it! -

Nope, hands down Ariel at DCA looks about a million times better since the re light. It's not a 'black light ride' now, rather a beautiful balance between white light and UV. The whole main room is much darker now and all the figures and their details pop, rather than have that 'we're obviously plastic and not in water' look. The videos don't read well but I've got no doubt you'd like it in person AlexB. It's well done. And I have to agree with Richard, no way you really see pirates ceiling, and Splash is really well concealed. Radiator springs is quite well done too in that I hardly found myself looking up at all. And this new MW ride, may have a black ceiling, but it looks to have lights up in it so I don't think it's going to be hidden unfortunately. -
Vekoma Mine Train... Screws all systems up

Thing is these parks have long had night time operations, much easier argument to make (the whole you moved in and a theme park was here so stop winging). Our parks really never operated at night, so now it's a whole approval process every time they any to open late.

Is give it six months and ask again AlexB. That looks a bit form letter and didn't want to investigate further to me. I would imagine there is a good chance if getting that item in good time. -

I would say that's from NDT (Non Destructive Testing) which is used to test/check welds for cracking. It involves spraying on a special kind of paint over the welds which may be what we see here. -

Well we've seen a lot of such items sold in recent years at lot sales. But you're not gonna sell scrap metal and there isn't much more too it than that -
I think we'll see some big changes and improvements this coming season.

Look to be fair they removed a ride and replaced it almost instantly and for that good on them. A new coaster would never have replaced reef diver and we would have been left with a vacant area to winge about. So good move I say.

"Optimal" for guests, HA that's great. It's your world class thrill ride. More likely it's optimal in that it's enough to keep guests happy whilst greatly reducing maintenance and electricity costs. The doubling power figure is true but misleading. It's only for a tiny second and it's just the load demand, doesn't make that huge of a difference. One question I have if anyone knows... Why does TOT have that thril rail in the centre, and what makes it so friken loud?

Orlando has the Scale, Anaheim has the Charm... Bout best way I can sum them both up. I've never got the 'goosebump feels' at WDW. Or at any Universal for that matter.
-
If you're coming through LA and planning to Disney there do universal in Orlando, but if not perhaps see Disney in Orlando and stop at universal on the way back? Tough call, Disney World is pretty impressive but does need time and me personally (other disagree) I feel all the attractions at Anaheim are better than their counterparts in Orlando, but for sheer scale Disney World is one to see. Universal Orlando is cool, but nothing really screams to me OMFG must see it. Potter is no doubt great but it's still going to be really really really really busy. Can you give us a bit more to go on, like what you're group's interests, experience is etc?

Honestly I can't even think specifics right now and doesn't mean it actually got done in the end. But people do read what's posted here. I know I've certainly read things from forums in my work and taken ideas on board. -

Slim maybe but not out of the question. Wouldn't be the first time something has been brought up on these boards and the parks have gone "hey, that's an idea." If that ride could be turn key installed and operating here for around 12 million then totally feasible. If it's more like 20 Id say no way. -
Everyone has different tastes. The beauty of Disneyland is there is so much there for every taste! You could spend days there and not go on a single ride.

Yep typical response these days in non European countries. I'm not forcibly prevented from endangering myself on purpose = unsafe

It's very rare and our safety practices are some of the strictest in the world so the change of an accident is slim. The reason Disney seems to have a lot is really just the huge number of guests they see compares to most parks.

That thing gets around! -
But they didn't. They got enormous negative publicity and media backlash over the Big Thunder incident. Once it came out that it was due to deficiencies in maintenance and cut backs it was made worse by the media pulling in the Columbia incident also. When the death on mission space happened they even referenced these two deaths even though they were completely unrelated.
