  1. Gee, talking about stealing people's ideas hey richard?
  2. HAHAHAH very nice the_worker. Your avatar is bender when he gets turned into a car. Nice.
  3. Dreamer's forum. Hence why I have an apostraphe you dolt.
  4. HAHAHA, richard edited my post so it wouldn't include my DreamNova.com link, because he's scared it'll attract bears or something.
  5. A few things about kenny-koala's post: -the shaded in AWE have been up since January -yes, its the wiggles -the tomb raider wall is being dumped right smack bang in the middle of the TB site -TOT, its called an e-brake -GD, who cares, it sucks now anyway Ben "meh" Roach.
  6. Or maybe he's just a pre-pubescent twelve year old who didn't really take any notice and just presumed as to tick us veterans off. Dude, I've done Disney too not to mention universal studios and all that jazz, but then yet even if its my home park I still reckon the themeing is ****e. I'm sure old scott wouldn't even know how to build decent themeing, let alone a paper bag.
  7. You reckon Reptar is not faded? Obviously you need your eyes checked boy, as you've got no idea. I agree with Richard (whoa, did I just say that?) that the entire Nick Central area is becoming rundown, and do you call pebbles around the new reptar pathway acceptable "themeing"? And scott, I know I go heaps, its a proven fact afterall; which mean I "must" know what I'm talking about, compared to a coaster-noob like yourself who doesn't go as often. And while the claw looks fine for now, have you atleast noticed the area around you? The yellow queue line floor is now a tacky blackish colour, and the gardens have been ruined around that area by people trodding on the plantation. Also, about that tower of terror thing, you are an idiot. Simple. Go on scott, try and match that. Ben "ahhhhhhh to easy" Roach.
  8. Now honestly, what is this deckhand exactly going to do? Tell the people to wait? It would take the same amount of time for the main ride-op to come out and let people through onto the ride instead of coming out anyway to tell the other ride-op to let people through. It's simply a waste of a ride-op that can be used elsewhere to help with other rides. And would you say the faded colour on Reptar is good themeing? what about its dodgy queue line? Tower Of Terror's broken themeing? Cyclone's trashed queue line? Giant Drop's tagged walkways? Wipeout's delipdated buildings? Gold Rush's broken windows? I could go on and on dude. Dreamworld in my opinion is absolutely scraping it as a "theme park". Ben "read my whole post next time" Roach.
  9. Honestly dude, don't comment on rides that have long queues especially when they have signs saying "this ride will be experiencing long queues." I was also there today and the reason the queue was moving so slow is because the west side was down for maintenance, and only one ride-op is needed in that situation. What you said about GD is like taking a survey with a biost sample group. Of course its going to be slow, only one side is working. Why do I feel insulted by this? A few things to point out, the D&D ball is happening at dreamworld as I type, there was alot of tents etc. and stage rigs around dreamworld which looked very nice. There was also some large cargo crates arriving at the Thunderbolt site and part of the parking lot has been fenced off. For those who know, this is a sign of things to come. The park's general themeing, contrary to scott's beliefs about The Claw etc. is actually quite opposite. The entire day we were being imposed into dreamworld's very low regards for themeing. Trash down the bottom of cyclone, TOT is trash along with GD, and reptar's queue (which has been re-adjusted so its not only longer, but looks alot more dodgy) was just pathetic. While I love dreamworld and have full and utmost respect for them, their themeing and capacity is way below par. And I mean, "way" below par. We're talking Nara Dreamland low. Well anyhoo, I'm off to do some relaxing in the bahamas. Slick is watching.
  10. Depends what mood Dreamworld's in really. Either Kingdom of the tigers or super speedway. BTW, Super speedway is utterly awesome, I'd recommend it. Hey glubbo, give me a PM, i'd like to talk some random sometime soon.
  11. Hey Richard, just ease up, I was simply clarifying for those who wanted to know, so rather than trying to make yourself big, just drop it. Ahem, Disneyland was great in my eyes as not only were they big but it never fealt "open" like Dreamworld does at certain places. It always seemed to me something close by, but it was just really comfortable. But see, that was when I went down there when I was nine, so my memory's slightly faded.
  12. Ugh, i can't believe i'm posting this, but hey, i've got to help you guys out regardless. The land you see on the map is land currently used by Dreamworld's current theme park space. Like who-ever said it earlier, the reason Movie world's land is used up by studios and stuff, hence the land appearing on the map is alot bigger. I thought i'd give you this little attachment showing approximately how much land Dreamworld in total owns and how much they can and will use. Slick is watching.
  13. PKI has the exact same model of reptar and they also have an inverted boomerang coaster. Just because they have a kiddies inverted, doesn't mean they can't build a "real" inverted, provided it's a B&M.' I think a fourth dimensional coaster would go nicely where Big Brother shouldn't be. Just as long as the S&S design is alot better than the slow, rough arrow version X was. Ben "thinks it should have a hydraulic launch, mmm...." Roach.
  14. Plus, unless the people are willing to take the stair-case, there is no other way of getting to the top. And before you say elevator, could you imagine what would happen if there was a fire inside the tower? Most of it's inch thick steel, so if you're catching an elevator down from your awesome nothing-ness views and there's a spark from say a cable, instant oven. But that tower will be okay, just over three thousand degrees before it starts to slant. By the way, there's two things you need to know about Ride Trade towers of this nature. One; the thickness of tubular steel decreases as you rise in height, ranging from three inches thick down to one or something along those lines and...... from the obvious, the tower arrives in say two metre parts, then they are welded into ten or whatever metre parts, then every ten metres it is bolted. So the main components aren't welded, but rather than having to pay to get a ten metre steel tube to be imported from the netherlands, wouldn't be easier if it was in slightly smaller parts? Ben "it makes sense too for some reason" Roach.
  15. Just because everyone knows that Movie World are building an Intamin Rocket, doesn't mean that Dreamworld aren't retaliating. I have just found out, and as some of you may know who are in on the goss, it's great news that Dreamworld are building something that'll put half of you Movie World lovers in place. But anyway, enough dabbling, onto this topic. I think that just because two rides fall under the same category doesn't necessarily mean they can be compared equally. Did you notice that the Log Ride at dreamworld is only very, very small, whereas WWF is a main attraction? And as for comparing the Tower Of Terror to STR, one's over seven years and three days old, and the other's still being built. Not only that, but the technology in TOT, while still sophisticated indeed, does not match STR different hydraulic technology. Plus, like Richard said earlier on, TOT has done its bit as an investment for now. On the other thand though, that doesn't mean though that nothing will happen to the tower come the next few fiscal years......
  16. It's called a waste of time more like it. Hey, they could use that photo for inspiration. Its like dreaming that someday Sydney might have a semi-decent park. But hey, you can keep dreaming right?
  17. Oooooohhh, I am scared indeed. Hey Richard's around is he? So he just happened to be "online-away" in messenger for about 2 straight right without moving? Well richard, feel free to have a chat with me if you wish, I could certainly do with some laughter. Now to go find somewhere that has a dance dance revolution machine.....
  18. Would Cyclone be the crappy non-stop circle ride then? What about TOT's themeing. Ahhh.... Crap.
  19. Actually it wasn't this guy that put money into the park to save it from bankrupcy in 92' but rather the construction of Wipeout in 93'. Expect a historical article very soon when DreamNova.com is up. Hey that's cool, now that richard's gone, i can say DreamNova without someone cracking the ****s. DreamNova.com baby.
  20. Hey, maybe someday you could attach both of them together and you could have a decent freefall ride. Maybe.
  21. You can see in that last photos how close some of those appartments are. Sucks to be them. PS: is luna park sydney really that cluttered?
  22. Right mate. RIGHT. Maybe you've been smoking out of a little too many black pots perhaps.
  23. That's a little something that maybe somebody can elebaorate. Why are they doing maintenance during peak times? Couldn't they just wait a few weeks for the prime time to pass, or is the maintenance they're planning on doing something that is required to be repaired immediately?
  24. Yeah. He'll need to re-size the photos and tag them with the r-c logo in photoshop. That's what he means by editing.
