  1. Yeah, I used to live in murray bridge an went to puzzle park, i quite liked that massivley long waterslides and those big steel slides you rode on a mat. It also had paddle boats, mini golf and a human snakes and ladders board with slides and ladders you actually went on.
  2. Do us a favour paul, Dont write Xmas. Its called Christmas. Anyway, no shorthand remember.
  3. I used RCT2, you can Download the file from somewhere on here
  4. Just wondering, has anyone been to Dazzeland or Magic Mountain in Adelaide, both parks are now defunct, but I used to live there so i got the chance to visit both. Dazzeland was in the Myer Centre and occupied an entire floor (I think a similar thing was in Brisbane) It had a largish indoor playground, dodgems, a helicotper ride, an airplane ride, indoor mini golf, and also a Zamperla Powered musical coaster called Jazz Junction that was built high above the escalators and shopping areas below. Magic Mountain was on the beach at Glenelg, it was basically just a huge concrete mountain (similar to what blue lagoon has) It had four waterslides that twisted and turned through the mountain and its tunnels. But the inside of the mountain had a few other attractions, like a restored carousel, a cycle monrail, mini golf and bumper boats. Both parks were pretty nice. For those of you who have been to either of the two, what did you think? 5. Nothing wrong with having Ads on TVs tuned to Nickelodeon, the kids can bear the ads at home, so why not in the ride queue, plus The actual Nickelodeon network might like the idea becuase their ads are being veiwed by large numbers of people. But anyway, Nick is on Pay TV, so shouldnt it be ad free because you are paying for it ????
  6. a terrain coaster is a ride that intergrates with the existing terrain.
  7. In my re-creation I simply just made the chairlift go past GD, but didnt put any turns in, it does alter where it ends at AWE, but i didnt mind. Personally, with GD ists probably better just to leave it out and build a vertical ride track beside the tower.
  8. Why dont they just tune it to Nickelodeon? It would be differendt every day, and it would be bearable.
  9. I remember that show, it was called "The Leylands Australia"
  10. Yeah, It was the spin dragon, it hasnt been seen since.
  11. Steve, how can DW have a terrain coaster? Does it have any hills?
  12. I have seen the big Cigarette , all it is is just a painted smoke stack for a toobacco processing plant. I guess the closest thing my town has is the big soup can at Campbells soup, its just a water tower made to look like a soup can. How many here have gone to the big Merino and looked out its eyes?
  13. Why dont they do a deal with a radio station to have it played throughout the park?
  14. Well, he was a WL ride op, so no.
  15. MaXair, What an Xcellent ride choice, another Xtreme ride for CP, there seems to be an Xcess of rides with X in it, Xcellerator and X flight for Xample. I Xpect this ride will be a hit. XXXXXXXXX
  16. I wondered why they bothered building film studios on prime land anyway. The should leave centrally located land like that for places everyone can enjoy. The film studios should be out in the suburbs. In related melbourne theme park news that was in the herald sun, the showground redevelopment is going ahead and will feature a huge big top for concerts and for use as a show pavvilion, 19 out of 27ha will be left as showgrounds, the rest will be used for something else in a 25 year lease. A theme park is a posssiblity but they are deciding the use over the next 3 years.
  17. Or like tha bazillions that exist aroun oz that open on the last sunday of every month.
  18. Well, apparently according to survey conducted recently the best big thing is the big rocking horse in SA. I like the Big Banana better because it has a tobboggan run.
  19. I agree, slick has commented on the forums about the LCD TV size and they have taken note. But 48 cm LCDs are pretty expensive, they could have got 4 CRT tellys for the price of one LCD, and you would get better picture quality and a faster refresh rate. Sounds cool anyway, what do they show?
  20. In related news, sovereign hill in Ballarat has taken out the "Best Major Attraction" in the Victorian tourisim awards. I guess you could sort of consider it a kind of theme park, but without rides. It does however have some nice shows and a rather cool walkthrough with hollogram effects.
  21. Yeah, i saw them, i dont think that they are that great, down there with pinfari and the like (on second thoughts, pinfari is better) Their pax scream ride looks nasty, but the beer wheel ride looks like fun.
  22. I sort of know the words: This is DW, this it, blah blah blah on your DW trip, Its the TOT and the WO ride, This is DW Never had so much fun you think you've seen it all but youv'e only just begun this is DW never had so much fuuuun.
  23. So, how on earth would a 3 armed version work, would 2 be in the air and one on the ground, which would reverse so that the one on the ground would be in the air and the 2 that were in the air would be on the ground.
