  1. Well, I meant that it could be Australian, but less tacky. What about a wave pool, but the area around it could be like a real australain beach, there could be a couple of red and yellow flags, those high seats where the lifsavers sit, and maybe a building inspired by a surf club building somewere at the front of the wave pool area. You could also have a daintree rainforest type area, with natural looking slides that wind their way past ferns and palms, with misters. Or what about modeling some pools on some other australian locations, like the 12 apostles for example. All they did at boomerang bay is just got a few brightly coloured stock waterslides and stuck a bad name on them, and I certainly hope they dont do something so tacky.
  2. If DW does get a Boomerang Bay I hope it isn't as tacky in terms of theme compared to the Boomerang Bays in the U.S. Why is it when something is given an Aussie theme they instist on filling it with cliches that only apply to a small amount of the Australian people. If they do stick with an Aussie theme they should put some thought into it and actually make it properly australian, for example by using lots of australian native plants and naming rides better instead of things like Bondi Pipeline or Coolongatta Falls.
  3. Mine would be: Intamin Accelerator B&M dueling invert B&M floorless B&M flyer CCI woodie Huss Giant Top Spin Ride Trade Gyro Swing Intamin Super Splash Ride Trade Floorless Tilting gyro Drop Ride Trade Halfpipe Ride Trade Inverted Double Hammer Intamin Hyper
  4. We have a similar sort of person that comes to my work every day, but he is never bad or anything, he is just a simple little man who enjoys a bet, so he always takes the racing section out of the newspapers we provide for customers.
  5. From what i know about the new slide, it will be made of fibreglass, and it will use a hydrogen and oxygen blend to lubricate the slide surface, the ride may have metal supports, but I am awaiting confirmation. Also, this new ride will be available for visitors to ride at no extra cost.
  6. Well you seem to think that you know how to run stuff more efficiently than they do. And anyway, I was going by what slick said that a coaster has been confirmed by one of his contacts. 7. Well, im not going to lose sleep over it, WnW never seems to do much that is interesting anymore.
  8. If its not for a coaster then what is it?
  9. It is a bit rough, but it is actually Giovinola.
  10. That would be so expenisive though. Maybe build some buildings around the ride with cyclone damage, with theming providing near misses, for example you could put leaning telegraph poles close to the track that give a good head chopper.
  11. Why are they called cabins, isnt a cabin like a room in a ship or a little house.
  12. Well, I think WnW should just build a tower, and have numerous slides accounting for people who like thier slides with a bit of zing. There would be a whip type slide (basically a very steep downhill slide with a few turns, a bowl slide, a freefall side and a speed slide, and also a regular enclosed slide of a normal gradient that goes for ages. There could also be another raft slide tower, with a pair of master blasters, and a tornado slide like the one at Holiday World. You could just build the tower, and have some slides on there at the start, but have an allowance for new ones to be added. WnW could get a setpoint swing thing, but the problem with them is that they are expensive for a waterpark, but to wet for a theme park, so i cant really see one of them coming here.
  13. I think its either a Jump or a Jump 2. Ha Ha Hussy, I beat you. Nah, i reckon This would be cool at the show. http://www.parkfunworld.be/coasterdumois/2003/ES8.jpg
  14. It will be in ugland, and it wont break the treeline. Another thing, were these two seperated at birth:? http://www.riderita.com/ http://www.blackstar.co.uk/img/video/cover...00/08/78/92.jpg
  15. This thread is meant to be about your predictions for DWs new coaster, not your wishlist for what you want it to be.
  16. Zamperla make small and large flat rides, from little aeroplane rides to large gyro swing type rides. In terms of coasters, they make kids and family coasters, but they also make wild mouse rides and their infamous Volare, an uncomfotable small sized fying coaster. Other rides they make include bumper cars and flumes.
  17. What about this song for DW. I wanna go to Dreamword, Take me, take me, take me, take me now, Now, now, now, now, now! Take me to Dreamworld right now!!!
  18. SP, the queue looked cool, but it was too hot, i was wearing shorts and a T-Shirt and I was still really uncomfortable. But the ride was much more enjoyable and much more thrilling, and it seemed less dodgy.
  19. As the area around it gets built up i think it will get better.
  20. Cant someone just register a second account under the name of "The Informer" who just posts ride info anonymously without hinting who they are, therefore can get into trouble with an employer.
  21. Why? we can already ride one at MW and its not exactly the best inverted coaster on the market. Plus, i think the GP would be able to tell that it was the same as LW. If anyone is hoping for an invert, then it would be better to hope for an Intamin or a B&M invert.
  22. Yours is not a Vekoma, I think its either Zamperla or Fabbari.
  23. I dont think anyone would draw that conclusion from what you said.
  24. And slick, last time I checked B&M used 4x8 on most of their rides, and 4x9 on their speed coasters, only one uses 4x6 and that is Daemon due to space limitations. As long as there are two trains operating then everthing will run much better.
