  1. I don't know what is more sad. A grown adult judging other adults for having fun in their own way, or that you really struggle to be anything but negative about other people's opinions.

  2. Now now if I wanted to see @Jdude95 say something mildly witty and have another person come in and be less witty I'd watch old PCL reruns.

  5. Remember you can make dining bookings now, so if there’s any sit down restaurants you’re keen on (Beauty and the Beast’s castle has the grey stuff as a dessert for instance) you can book that now. Fast Pass opens for the entire length of your stay 60 days ahead of your first day, so hard to get fast passes will be easier on the later days. Make sure you have the app. If you can’t get the ones you want, book any 3 early in the day so you can knock them off quickly and then keep refreshing throughout the day to get that coveted one. Also, extra magic hours is how I got on Seven Dwarves mine train - the 40 minutes was more like 20.

  7. You sure it was HKDL you liked and not DLP? (Phantom Manor is in Paris. You're probably thinking of Mystic Manor... which is, in my opinion and agreeably hands down, the best dark ride i've been on.

  9. I've always regarded Disneyland as the first stop for any Disney Park virgin, but in terms of affordability, a quick trip to Hong Kong isn't too big of a difference. Almost everything in park is in English, but you can ride Jungle Cruise in three languages by choice of queue, and the Golden Mickeys - or whatever it is now - is a cantonese language show, with English subtitles shown on screens to the side of the stage. I found that Golden Mickeys was an enjoyable watch, largely ignoring the subtitles as they were a distraction from actually watching the show. Many attractions in other languages follow similar themes, in that you can still enjoy the ride\show without necessarily having it spoken to you in English. if you're unsure about foreign language parks, but can't hit L.A. first - try HKDL instead.

  12. isn't that what they did with wipeout? isn't that why they announced TOT closure in advance, so people could get one last ride? isn't that a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't, and won't make people happy no matter what, so you do the best you can by listening to all the feedback, positive and negative, and do your best to fix up the little things like bins in the... nevermind.

  13. Here’s the first construction update since it’s announcement: There was some activity happening on the eastern side of the land, with some large machinery a lot of shipping containers on site All the trees have now been removed from the land where The Vortex will be and the creatures will be removed very soon. Sky Flyer is closed for maintenance, so the entire COTD area is closed off With JR also closed right now for maintenance, access through this area of the park is restricted, but I’m thinking (based off the concept artwork), we will see this bridge finally go and the pathway issues in this area resolved
