  3. The Beach would have gotten more slides, bush beast would have eventually closed, and a small coaster from an Italian manufacturer would have been installed. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

  8. The park will be very very busy. You can buy a Fast Track online, but it ain’t cheap. And you’ll also struggle to find a seat to leave your towels/stuff, so really you should try and get there for opening if you can

  10. December traditionally isn't that busy, it's not like it's dead like the middle of winter or anything, but it's pretty 'meh' attendance wise. I think most people do their Christmas shopping/ Christmas parties in December, and you get the crazy theme park attendance from Boxing Day when lots of work places shut down. The first Tuesday or Wednesday after Boxing Day is the busiest day of the year. Has been for decades.

  11. So very glad you aren't. You're comparing maintenance issues on a mechanical ride attraction with a litany of issues, and drawing comparisons to a fibreglass tube without the same history? Had my car up on blocks for weeks trying to fix it but she's cactus. Next week I saw a cow standing on a square shaped rock so I shot it in the head because it was surely going to be the exact same problem my car had!

  12. it's probably so they can use the iphone 12 pro's lidar scanner to map out buzzsaw from the top of a cherry picker to then add to the 3D map

  13. I am pretty sure that there is a plan of works for overall upgrades to themeing and buildings within the precinct. The place will be shut for 6 months- you can bet they will use this time to renew everything while they have the best opportunity they can. @StingRay is 100% right here. The carnivale is a great way to end this chapter of Luna Park and help usher in the new age. Well done LPS!!

  15. On a related note, nice to see some creative marketing from the parks for Vortex. There are at least two of these in Brisbane CBD.

  16. I know we can't judge but if I was that traumatised from an incident, I wouldn't continue to work there for another 4 years before trying to sue them for compensation.

  17. Leviathan has definitely changed the skyline from the car park, but I wish they would fix the ugly and uninviting mess that is the front entrance to the park. It’s a horrible first impression
