  1. I didn’t even notice that had been removed! It was only removed during this maintenance period.

  2. Could the day have finally come! The eye sore building to the left of the entrance of the Kids WB area at MW is behind construction fencing. Hopefully this means it will finally be removed.

  4. I'm hoping it will be a new ride or something but it is most likely to remove the hut, which is a positive. I do hope its a flat and not a coaster however as if it is, then it will mean 6/7 of the past additions would be coasters (DCR, SR, WoO Boomerang 1, WoO Boomerang 2, SFC and another coaster) with Marvin being the exception. Yes I would rather JDS to be removed and replaced with a LT dark ride similar to LTRR but that wont happen. I don't like how all LT is reserved for kids rides only so it would be good for a family LT ride.

  5. maybe they saw positive results in the Marvin ride and are already investing in a new kids ride? either another small kids flat or a little kids coaster to balance out RRRC. I will say i’m surprised Speedy is still there after all these years being next door to JDS.

  7. Isn't that mostly empty because it was cleared for the lazy river that was never built? Plenty of room for the globe in BOH I would have thought

  8. Maybe BOH is full of all the other stuff they've got on the go right now and they needed somewhere to put this that's out of the way? A lot is happening in Ocean Parade.

  9. This was presented nicely alongside the new ST logo on a printed mesh banner… it wasn’t a massive ugly BADGE logo on a black wall. You’ll also remember between Sky Voyager building and BuzzSaw there was a wooden wall, with a nicely printed wrap about BuzzSaw…

  10. At this point this is probably just being ignored because it's annoying folk so much. Perfectly put - I understand it, but it's definitely overblown. Also - the digital experience isn't your first impression of the park, but that globe has been around for about a heartbeat of Dreamworld's lifetime. It is not the 'must have photo' for families - this is: Families lining up to enter the park first thing in the morning line the kids up for a shot under the globe at the entrance. It's as quintessential as the sea world entrance and why we celebrated when sea world removed all that shitty photographer crap from the front entrance The Globe in the fountain is certainly a photo opportunity, but it feels born out of the influencer era - it is something devoid of life - it's framed to exclude other people from the shot so the 'grammers can get their perfect jump selfie. But it just makes it look like the park is dead. Screw the globe. I'll take my group photo on the front entrance steps every time.

  11. Village already outsource some of their maintenance work. Stop drinking at work.

  12. On my last visit to Dreamworld I was lucky enough to have a conversation with the CEO, Greg. He seems like a very lovely and open guy. In regards to the Giant Drop, a tilting gondola had been discussed very heavily and wouldn't be too expensive to implement into the current tower. Their main reason for not going ahead with it is purely due to it being too extreme. As others have mentioned, the ride is already quite ominous and it's the minority who enjoy it, adding a tilting gondola would only further scare guests away from riding that gimick.
