    You want barriers to be contrasting colours to the walls, for people who are vision impaired @Brad2912 but I do agree the colour of choice takes away from the experience.

    Dude, all I said is "it's a headache" I'm not for or against the change of use DW have applied for and I haven't set my tent up on either side of the fence. All I was doing was explaining why it's a headache and why what Westfield did 7 years ago sets no precedent of what you can do today.

    @DaptoFunlandGuy The Government have only been adding Koala overlays on Gold Coast land in the last few years. 5 years ago you would hardly see one but now, if it has a couple of trees, the Government are putting environment and Koala overlays on the property. I had 3 projects in the last 2 years go belly up because of trees. Building approvals and development approvals only last a few year because the laws are always changing. Just because your neighbor, Joe Blow built something 10 years ago doesn't mean you can build the same thing today.
