I don't think it's likely, was just an idea of something that would be a drawcard. If they wanted to work out alternate queuing arrangements for DCeased they could.

Quoted for truth/accuracy. The park is looking shocking in many areas, this DCR rivals theming panel has been missing since Feb The park has had new mazes and upkeep while spending on major attractions (Atlantis, Rivals ect.) so "they are building 2 coasters" is not a pass from me for not investing in new FN mazes. I have been told the same, but I will believe it when I see it. I genuinely hope there is a significant drawcard yet to be announced. A large show utilising the HWSD arena would fit the bill, its been over 10 years since they had a major Halloween show... Circus of the Damned was excellent. Beetlejuice Encounter has been added to the Entertainment Schedule, dashing anyone's hopes there was more to him at the event than a meet and greet.

I will note since coming back from the most recent maintenance period the boats have a new minimum close and it has been marked on the boats with yellow tape. The test seat has also been moved.

Sea World Monorail Permanent Closure

Can confirm I heard similar to Spotty, that said I think the announcement video is a bit of a cop out and only made now that they do plan to remove some track. It would have been a very costly endeavour for ultimately an attraction that doesn't drive attendance but it could have been done, I don't blame the park for not investing in it currently but I do hope some form of transport is built at some point. -
Storage indeed is the use for the showstage in the near future be it floats or otherwise. I did hear originally they were looking at converting it back to a show venue but those plans are on hold or cancelled.
-
In previous years they have removed the old mazes prior to selling tickets and had "locked" mazes to be announced. There is no doubt this is the maze lineup this year. So no Beetlejuice Maze.... He also is not mentioned in conjunction with WB Horror Encounters, considering he is not yet mentioned at all on the website other than the teaser image perhaps we are looking at a show?
-
So in addition to Beetlejuice we have these new “WB Horror Encounters” They also have a new upcharge product called First Bite, which includes a UTTesq drinks/canapes/meet.
-
The main maze page of the website clearly has all 5 previous mazes from last year too, honestly I had low expectations based on declining standards year on year but this is still surprising. I don’t think it’s a mistake considering there is death row imagery used in conjunction with the new marketing style for tickets/one pass. It appears based on this Beetlejuice will be at the event, but without a maze or zone this certainly isn’t a huge draw card in my opinion.

Considering I don't think Trident has never not been "NOW OPEN" on their new attractions page I don't have much faith it necessarily will be. https://themeparks.com.au/new-attractions

These dates are correct tickets are now on sale and information is live on the website. Appears to be essentially the same as the 2023 event.
-
It will be 5 mazes again, I would be happy with 4 if they were the length/quality of many years past.
-
Dropped from $25 to $20 or $17.50 for 2 or more. $15 for passholders, this will get me most visits for sure. Appears the date booking selection has been removed although selecting a time/date is still mentioned in the terms and conditions.
-
Absolutely agree with this, they have also just placed a new a-frame promoting purchase at ride entry along with a QR Code sign on the side of the que. When DCR backwards was $10/$15 I did it most visits, but at $20 it became a once every few months and at $30 its a special occasion/with a mate that hasn't done it before.

Interesting development, now just need offpeak or passholder discounts so it doesnt run empty the majority of the time.

This was my take too, if you didn’t “cheap out” initially you wouldn’t be dealing with these issues now. But yes credit for the transparency. -
Dreamworld Gold Rush Country General Store update
Park Addict 93 replied to HarryHeHe8's topic in Theme Park Discussion
On this note VRTP has the latest addition of Studio Showcase. My understanding is this space is now going to be storage indefinitely.- 14 replies

The Flash: Speed Force coming to Movie World

All previously available/released for the film. Nothing for the new ride. Mambo released this shirt quite a few years back and honestly it’s perfect for the ride considering its history. -
What other parks in Japan should I go to?
Park Addict 93 replied to TBoy's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I highly recommend Nagashima SpaLand have been twice in 2019 and 2023 for the most part wait times were low when I visited. I do believe they had a Que Skip option on a few rides, single purchase per person available from the kiosks around the park.- 21 replies

The most recent was July 2021 (that was rescheduled a week but did go ahead). I agree the $10 Passholder ticket represents outstanding value, also great they are offering pass holders friends/family tickets at $29.

Movie World Scheduled Maintenance 2024
Park Addict 93 replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Literally during the school holidays prior to closure DCR was running two trains. It’s not a rare occurrence. SDSC’s major works were anticipated/planned. However unforeseen issues cropped up that brought the closure forward. Hence why work has not really taken place with the ride yet. If such a popular ride can only operate with significantly less cars than usual for whatever reason it makes sense to close it imho, doesn’t mean it was unsafe.
