  1. Can confirm in park today that physical signage has been altered and have confirmed with Guest Services that it has been discontinued. References have been scrubbed from ThemeParks The fact is it was a ticket entitlement and an advertised inclusion, my basic understanding of consumer law would be pass holders would be entitled to refunds if so inclined.
  2. Looks like they plan on selling individual maze One Shot’s this is from the app this morning.
  3. Also worth noting the “early access to event tickets” didn’t eventuate at all for FN or SN.
  4. Redemptions are purely for those purchasing the One Pass/Fright Night bundle.
  5. Full details on the website https://movieworld.com.au/attractions/music-on-main
  6. Correction/update on this. Fast Track prices have increased to $149 (single use mazes) $199 (mazes+rides single use). This does however include access to "Bonus Rooms" in the new mazes (presumably similar to the old UTT rooms).
  7. I’m calling BS on this change being “guest feedback”
  8. Didn’t think it was worth making a new thread, but felt it was worth mentioning. VRTP have changed the validity terms for new one pass purchases that they now must be used/activated within 3 months of purchase, all other tickets remain at 12 months.
  9. Dates this year are all Fri/Sat in October plus Thursday the 26th. Fast Track and Season Pass Prices are currently listed as the same as last year.
  10. It wasn't a last min decision, it's been planned for awhile. I don't think theres a chance they are simply choosing not to operate it while waiting for theming, it must need parts and/or Intamin to come out and recommission the ride.
  11. Worth mentioning MW have now listed FT for sale online for the next few months (outside of School Holidays) $79.99 rather than the $149.99 that has been during school holidays lately.
  12. You have your phone or FT wristband scanned and are given a VQ physical card that is collected by the attendant at sort/load. Considering it’s loaded/those screenshots are from the app I doubt they would use the old physical Accesso devices like Dreamworld used to.
  13. Worth noting they are looking at reintroducing it, these were the fast track options listed in the app on the first day of school holidays (that apparently were in testing and not yet ready for the public). Note they do require an amount of waiting similar to how The Flash Pass at Six Flags operates.
  14. This is what I believe is simply what most people are encountering, and it pays to simply try again throughout the day as more availability pops up.
  15. I’m simply saying it’s been consistently available during school holidays since it’s inception and to say otherwise is false. If you’ve never been able to use it whatsoever perhaps look if you do have a genuine technical issue with your app or account.
  16. I can state categorically in my experience that is not the case, unless you are saying it’s unavailable simply because you waited until it had run out to try and utilise it and didn’t check back throughout the day when further availability opens. As a “free” physical que skip service it will always run out, especially during the holidays. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t available that day. Here’s a screenshot from earlier these school holidays.
  17. Village do charge more for Single Use One Shot Fast Tracks via the app during peak periods but in general VQ remains available. It is an advertised ticket inclusion. Just need to jump on it at 10AM/when it starts. Ride availability is not guaranteed, but usually that is only impacted when the ride is not operating at full capacity. WWF was only filling up a maximum of 6 seats per boat on a visit earlier in the holidays and was not available on Virtual Que but everything else was (with varying availability throughout the day).
  18. It’s metal. Ride was down most of today due to high winds, but when it opened up in the afternoon they were operating both sides.
  19. I was there and nobody had to wait ages, that simple! Taipan also was only running one train and didn’t have a long wait either (although Tailwhip did). It’s called an opinion, this is a discussion forum, I’m welcome to mine as you are welcome to yours. I don’t think it was necessary on Opening Night, however if wait times are at 45m during the holidays I think they should. Giant Drop is apparently more popular than I expected it to be during these holidays and I said I didn’t have first hand knowledge 🤷‍♂️.
  20. I disagree and likely so did the park. They wanted the focus on the side with the expensive new lights 🤷‍♂️ Outside of the thoosie community I doubt anyone cared that only one side was operating.
  21. Marvin is down for unscheduled work, noticed it was down on Sunday afternoon while I was at the park. I feel it should really not be featured on the main page of Movie World's website as "NOW OPEN" if they are aware it will be closed currently.
  22. In my opinion that would warrant having both sides operational, but yeah it definitely wasn't needed opening night.
  23. It would have been nice for the ocean side to have been open for the opening night but ultimately the wait did not really demand both sides operating. I haven’t visited yet these school holidays but I doubt the demand for the ride requires it currently either. It makes more sense to always have one side operating consistently while the other is under maintenance.
