  1. I think the last removal was to build the Constrictor.
  2. Well not only is the theme of it Shock Therapy, but the game the coasters based off did have quite a few exposed wires at times; not to mention the abundance of electric flooring...
  3. So I went up for a ride over to the park today to see if the new ride had been built or if there was anything onsite for it, but alas there was nothing. Not even a shipping container or Skip (apart from the general waste one in the maintenance carpark). The only thing that seemed new was a bunch of dinosaurs placed around the lazy river. But seeing as i havn't been there since season 1, i don't know if they were there last season or not. But i do know they make loud roaring noises that don't get turned off. Here's photos anyway of the dinosaurs and some pallets next to the pump house near the Double BOWLSeye and The Curler's tower. Also my phones digital zoom is terrible and i didn't have my 200mm with me.
  4. Wasn't able to get by the park today, so i'll try for Sunday.
  5. I'm heading by tomorrow to see whats going on down there.
  6. Is it just me or does it look like its taken the spot the carousel had?
  7. It's a Frisbee used for burning multiple retinas at once isn't it.
  8. I'd bet a burrito on myself being right due to Bizarro being just too random of a character to include in advertising. Most of the GP would just be like "But Superman isn't bad?".
  9. More so, as would i, but unless this is a younger half transformation KC, then i'd rather a better jawline atleast. Croc is supposed to be a hulking monstrosity, not 6ft and human looking. Hopefully the movie explains that he's only halfway into his career, and in the future we can see the Killer we all know.
  10. I'd say it would add to it more than anything. The only problem is see is MW's Killer Croc looks better than SS's.
  11. Could those featured (Scarecrow, Bizarro, and Killer Croc) be hints at the future or? Cause i see Bizarro fitting a coaster like his opposite, Superman. Meanwhile Scarecrow and KC both have ideas and ideals that fit a Showstage. With one preying on nightmares and the other hiding out primarily in the sewers. I's see Scarecrow as a motion dark ride and KC as a log flume. Unfortunately we have both of those and space says no to one.
  12. DD and WWF. I think all we already knew was the town was being touched up.
  13. My 2 questions are, are there any gremlins references on Scooby itself, and did Greg name drop us or indirectly reference Parkz (or TPR)? Also did anyone ask for specifics on the entire southern end of the park?
  14. Reverse search got me this. http://www.odysseyparksresorts.com/?p=538
  15. What about Red Billabong? Thats getting a big push at the moment.
  16. If it's synced well, you have more chance of not getting sick. Recommend going to your nearest Samsung store and having a look at the Gear VR display to try VR first. You too @Jobe. Also, unless you have vision like Velma Dinkley, then you wont need your glasses cause there's and adjustment dial. I take my Viewmaster everywhere with me (lives in my "work" bag) and of the people i've shown it too, i've converted everyone i've shown it too that thought it was just a gimmick. Downloading cardboard camera is a fantastic conversion tool to make people believe in VR. If i have not just a good shot lined up, but also want something i can show others to make it feel like they're there, i use that.
  17. My guess is testing starts from 830 on the bigger things, so the hill climb would probably be the first thing you do? Then walk around inside the rides?
  18. With the release of Arkham VR in October or so, this is perfectly timed. In terms of story, i think they'll keep it with the shock therapy tag. Also give them a chance to fix the speakers. The only feet dangling thing i can think of though, would be Wyns description or being attached to the bottom of the batwing or something. Otherwise there's the option that every motion simulator ride uses: being consistently thrown around from place to place to convey a story. In thinking with the last one, the story coming to mind would be, you're strapped into an electric chair, Joker pulls a lever (kronk) and you get hijacked by ivy or something, she drops you, you fall into a sewer and meet killer croc.etc. But having just watched a POV, the rides movements do better suit the batwing.
  19. 1-Scooby (i have a soft spot for anything Scooby related [excludes current series Be Cool Scooby Doo]) 2-LPS Wildmouse (Local coaster) 3-Corkscrew/Viper 4-Scenic Railway (LPM) 5-Superman
  20. Well if they want "World Class", the ride would need something very "phwar ayy" like rubbing a shiny stick in your face. In which case it needs to be something innovative, SE is World Class with its pre-show (despite not being a "World Class pre-show") right into a top hat. Scooby is WC with it's theming and innovative with the lift and backwards section. Wild West is relatively WC by being one of the worlds only flume rides with a coherent theme you can understand. Ideally if we're looking at a WC coaster with traditional layout, then it would need to be big. But if its some degree of compact, it should be something new to at least the GC. At the very least id like something along the lines of Firechaser Express with Mystery Mine being a stretch goal.
  21. With Sea Life they are all generally the same. But they do follow the rule of "same same but different". If you're willing to brave the heat, east/west side parks are nice, as is the Botanical Gardens. I also recommend popping into the lounge at the Shangri-La on Sentosa as the view is fantastic. The markets at Little India and China Town are great too.
  22. IGN have a very general one on their website.
