Does anyone know if you can use myfun vouchers to purchase VIP local passes online? Had no response from VRTP about this and cannot find anything about it on their site. My wife was given a voucher by her work and wanted to use it to buy tickets.

New dolphin show on the way for Seaworld

I'm not criticising the park for "only changing"... I am pointing at they are not as mentioned all new... Of course they are behaviours, hell even I said that... -
New dolphin show on the way for Seaworld
MaxxTheMonster replied to Theme Park Girl's topic in Theme Park Discussion
All of the "new" things noted above have been done or used in the Imagine show. The show run sheet changes even during the show and anything can be in any order... Main things that determine this are the trainers, dolphins used and behaviours and general feel for the run of the show... The main reason they put the metal fences up during the Imagine run was that they would find the dolphins going onto the stage and spinning on the concrete... Sounds like more of a cosmetic change like they did moving into Imagine or like they did with the Sealion theatre shows... -
Read about it on these forums but never seen it.

Future Additions for Gold Coast Theme Parks

This annoys me almost everytime I go on this ride. And as far as staff playing on phones, I have seen it more than enough times at the Scooby loading area. -
A family member organizes the expos and a lot of the promotions for EB so I will be sure to pass this info on to him.

Plus side is some staff at Dreamworld stack your yearly pass discount and the RACQ discount... All adds up to a decent saving

Still unable to find any pics or footage of this... Would love to have head down to see but bad timing...

Parkz News Tail Spin coming to Dreamworld

Only thing I can think about given that name... Although coming down from general anaesthetic probably isn't helping either... Will be very disappointed though if one of the carriages does not get a similar paintjob... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tKHlukQTik&feature=player_detailpage -
Parkz News Sea World's Sea Viper closes after 32 years

I agree that I wont miss Sea Viper, and Corkscrew died the day it went orange... As far as replacement... They had 2 coasters and 2 water rides, then 3 coasters 1 water ride... I think they would be smarter to put in a non coaster ride rather than 75% of their rides (for adults) being coasters to appeal to a wider market than sealife rollercoaster enthusiasts... -
Go every year and the only ride we seek out is the Breakdance... for my wife... Apparently Airmaxx 260, Extreme, Pirates Revenge and Fungee Bungee will be there... They used to list the rides on their website but no specific information at this time.

Dreamworld locomotives "were are they now"

One is visible in the shed under Black Lagoon mountain as of last week. -
But they used to charge for it... Then they started giving it away... Same with the entry tickets now being almost the same cost as a VIP pass... With these they have created the typical guest you see at MW getting in for next to no cost, bringing their own food, not buying anything in shops... Of course there is still the tourists that spend heaps, the occassional visitor who will buy lunch and spend a little in shops but the majority spend very little on an average visit. Like several others here have posted previously it was better when the cost was higher meaning a different type of guest and experience. As far as FN... How about an abandoned meat packing facility or warehouse... To help enhance the theme limit the number of people admitted to FN each night so you can actually move around.

From posts everywhere ele in the forums... they need something to soak up crowds, for those who want more family orientated attractions, and that will fit into a theme that will last a long time without being too obscure...
-
One thing they need to do sooner rather than later is add some sort of edge strip on the new stairs they added to walk up to Shockwave... Watched 3 people in under 2 minutes today fall down them... Whose smart idea was it to put them there in the first place??? Stairs on a path in a theme park... Also the tent that was near Wipeout has moved back next to the stairs and still has the hair wraps text on it... More painting occurring today mainly for the underside of the stairs and walk platforms.

Other than a lot of different food to eat and a parade is there anything else happening at these nights?
-
A little off topic but didn't DW have to offset the operation / starting of sequence for Wipeout and Reef Diver otherwise it would overload the circuit they shared or something? Had an old friend that worked there told me once...

Toasted TV started at MW before going to SW

Shak used to be at SW where Seal Harbour now is... Was also the same area parts of Flipper where filmed back around 1998-2000.
