  1. Maybe their keeping it under wraps and planning on reopening the ride in late 2016 Gold Rush Country's 30th anniversary which is also the same date the ride opened
  2. It would be nice if we had a Nemesis like ground hugging B&M invert somewhere in the bush so it would be mostly hidden from view, but possibly running through trenches and whizzing around corners, possibly in the middle island but I'm unsure if that ground is stable enough to hold a ride like that also, building a tight Nemesis like ride would also be a cheaper option instead of investing in something huge like Banshee or Alpengiest, and Dreamworld could probably add some outback/aboriginal theming and base the ride off some mythical dreamtime creature like the bunyip or something like that
  3. We will never move on ...I'm judging you SO HARD for what you did!!!!! nah I'm just kidding, lets move on
  4. The first time I first rode The Claw in 2006 was a pivotal moment in my life, since before that, I would never go near theme park rides because I thought I would hate them and terrify me, but that ride gave me an unforgettable experience of adrenalin and thrill which opened up my eyes to the joy of theme parks. Also later that year, I would ride TOT and Giant Drop which raised that. I rode Scooby Doo and Wild West Falls for the first time in 2006, and Superman in 2008. I went to Disneyland in 2010 and Pirates Of The Caribbean gave me another view on theme park attractions and blew me away by just how immersive that ride was and how good the animatronics were
  5. I wouldn't know, but they look painful to ride
  6. Just think of Dreamworld's reaction, especially after what happened on the BuzzSaw I'm thinking now Dreamworld is going to be even more cautious about the state that Eureka Mountain might be in after what happened today don't you think? The BuzzSaw incident was more of a warning than anything else, but this could've possibly ended in disaster if this happened if the vehicle was in an inversion.
  7. Yeah, you got it! Seriously though, I feel stupid for posting that now
  8. "Ive got a feeling, so a'peel'ing for us to get up together and sing. SING!" there has got to be someone that knows what I'm referencing
  9. Big Banana to 'expand'? Did you type that on purpose, or am I just really immature?
  10. A ride with a great atmosphere and that also has a strong and lasting appeal to it's riders. That's what I think
  11. So is it true the layout and track style of Eureka was changed very early on in the rides operating years? This was 1991 so the layout was changed between 1986 when it opened and 1991. Can someone tell me why they thought it was necessary to change the layout and ride vehicle (2 carts with 2 seats each to just 1 that holds 4)
  12. I got stuck on the very top of the lift hill on Rocky Hollow Log Ride at Dreamworld If the ride had a power outage and the magnetic brakes failed, why would the block brakes still work? They run on electricity too don't they? Sure, there has got to be more to that since they're failsafe
  13. The Mine Ride was one of the only rides as a kid I was too afraid to go on, which makes me even more grateful that I finally wanted to ride it in 2006 and rode it twice, it was in the afternoon so we had to leave. I loved it so much that it became one of my top rides and DW and wanted to ride it again the next time I went (I had a pass). Unfortunately the next time I was there, it was closed. I unknowingly rode it mere months before it closed (I think it was August/September) and I'm so happy I made the choice to experience it and I would love to see it return
  14. I haven't seen the commercial myself, but a friend told me about it. I said to him was he sure it was a rollercoaster and not just a new thrill ride and he said it was. But he must have been wrong. Sorry for being so stupid and posting this without further notice, I was just kind of exited, that's all
  15. Oh wait! It already exists! I always thought that TOT1's themimg looked much more fitting and intimidating, but that's Dreamword!
  16. A new commercial for Dreamworld confirmed a new Roller Coaster is in the works. I wonder what it could be?
  17. "deck the halls with DEADLY FIRE! fa la la la, la la la la!"
  18. Falcon's Fury has a world first drop tower vehicle design. It's pretty much the Giant Drop in dive coaster -TOT2 position. You are dropped at a 90 degree angle face first. It would be great for Sea World since it's compact and leaves a small footprint
  19. Yeah, because one is far too many, and having two is out of the question!
  20. Falcon's Fury is opening in almost a month in Florida, i would be great to see a ride like that be at one of the Village Roadshow Parks, it would make a good addition to Sea World and most likley increase attendence rates, since none of the rides there are honestly THAT thrilling, but since they just dropped 20 million bucks on Storm Coaster, we probably wont be seeing another big ride at Sea World for quite some time
  21. ok, thanks for pointing that out. I do have a knack for going off topic
  22. Speaking of the Wipeout, I went to Dreamworld today, and the wave has been completley repainted to a more aqua-green colour, which also looks more translucent with a few shark silouettes inside the wave. It looks pretty good
  23. When my cousin rode Lethal Weapon in 2006. It gave her a migrane for the rest of the day. Later that night we were at a resturaunt and i remember she said she had to go to the toilets because she was going to be sick, and that was many hours after the actual ride experience
  24. Yes. I know They turned eviloution into a lazer tag? i thought i was a walkthrough attraction
