DC Rivals HyperCoaster Announcement
Tim Dasco replied to screamqueens's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I think you might need your eyes cheeked. There is no indoor area at the top of the lift hill. There is a giant Joker face above the lift hill tho. Similar to the GL's logo. It think that MW might introduce a VR uncharge option on this which will have the story line. But as I have said multiple times I think theming around this ride will be minimal other than the queue line and station. (which the plans show are open and not in a indoor shed) Keep in mind this coaster is not cheap. Rumoured price of around the 30million mark. Which means there won't be to much $$$ left for theming. But its still an Awesome world class hyper coaster! -

The station plans show an open station building with an outdoor queue. So there will be no rooms sadly. Most of the budget has gone into the coaster itself, so I wouldn't be expecting to much in the way of theming. But hey we finally have an amazing hyper coaster in Australia, next on the list a B&M -
MW Mini Driving School - Officially Confirmed

Yeah but weather VRTP spend the capex on this is my question. Considering they are being very money conscious now. -
MW Mini Driving School - Officially Confirmed

Sorry to bump and old thread but thought it was the place to put it. Do people think that we will see JDS theming changed or updated after the hyper coaster opens to include DD and the hyper coaster? -
I am surprised VRTP don't want to share the night events across all 3 of their parks. Maybe bringing back Dive N movies at WNW. They do have all the animal enclosures which I think will have to be the focus as they are lacking in the rides department.

So the first attraction has been revealed and I think it's safe to say that Voodo will be the Zamperla discovery Revolution that they had approval to build. From FF's Facebook page. Plus the link they posted http://www.funfields.com.au/rides/gravity-wave-victoria-biggest-waterslide

Maybe it was a typo. As 3 months to 33 days is a big difference. -

Plus cable replacements don't take long. Cedar Point of got it down to a Tee. They can close the park and replace the cable over night. So a cable replacement wouldn't take 3 months. -

I would say yes. I know cedar point uses 2 cables a year for Top Thrill Dragsters. So I would assume that Superman has been through a few cables in its 10 years or so. -
Or with Jet Resuce. That's 3 coasters MW brought within a few years from Intamin. Surprising they were all launched coasters.

Which means I think we will see the NI loop track done next before the lift hill track due to there is no lift hill track on site. -

It seems like we might be seeing just supports going up now until more track arrives. From he pictures it looks like there is not much track left in the car park. -
The screens are now playing a live stream of the cubs.

Well the Hyper coaster did not even make it into the travelandleisure.com top 48 attractions for 2017. Yes this is an international list including Coasters from Germany and Dubai. (It even has water parks and a S&S free spin on it) However the reason is that MW have waited so long to tease and God Knows when we will get an offical announcement. So not many people other then ones who visit the park frequently or people like us will know about it. Which I think is where VRTP have screwed themselves over and missed a big opportunity. The list is here: http://www.travelandleisure.com/attractions/amusement-parks/new-theme-park-rides-2017 -

Flying aces issue by Intamin so of course the support structure will be different. -
And remember they have be approved for a revolution 360 ride. Could that be what Vodo is?

So FF's has announced a new ride for the next season. A second new ride. This is great news for Fun Fields and its goods to see more parks investing! From FF's facebook page.

I know that Cedar Fair spent $350,000 USD to remove Their boomerang from Knotts. (It was taken apart price by price to be relocated) So if you add Australia's higher wages and then the coaster to get it trucked to the park and then reinstalled. I would say it's not worth it when the park could put that money to a new ride.
