  1. Yes @iwerks I will get it before the sale ends. Just put it of as I have been ordering christmas lights/planning the fundraiser, getting magic halloween shows together and apply for electrical apprenticeships.
  2. AW have posted another sneak peek of the new theming around the TOT. It actual from the way the photos was taken makes the ride look scary as your heading into a mining tunnel and cannot see a thing. I hope they kept the arrows inside the slide as they are awsome. AW have seemed to have done an Amazing job with Water Mountain. It looks awesome and I can't wait to see it in person. Sadly I am working for the next few weeks (week days and weekends) so I want be able to cheek it out for a while. Hopefully someone can gets some photos. AW have really proven first with Kraken and now with Water Mountain that it is very very possible to theme water slides. "Cough" Wet N Wild WWW "cough" I think AW have basically since 2010 re-themed the entire park. I can't think of an area that has not been themed. I think they will most likely focus on the animal area or adding to existing areas (IE Nautical land with the other waterslides.) in future none MI years. But anyway well done @Mark Shaw and your team for making AW an AWsome and immersive theme park and I can't wait till I can come again and see these changes.
  3. Dreamworld have great Mining theming they have made a massive mountain themed to an abandoned mine ride that has been abandoned and not touched in over 10 years. Oh wait thats not theming. @iwerks I think this photo was taken from the Lagoon side. Keep in mind you should be able to get photos from the Sky Lift and the Abyss area if the theming goes around the mountain.
  4. With Adventure World opening in a few days their official Facebook page posted this sneak peek of their new Gold Rush themed area. I think it looks awesome.
  5. They would not need VR to achieve that. All they would need to do is put a race track under the coaster and done.
  6. It would most likely be support pole for the tall actions. I don't have a picture but I was watching a Cedar Point documentary and they said the whole area underneath Top Thrill dragster tower is a giant concrete slab to support the weight.
  7. Forget Giga.Get a Polar coaster. Worlds tallest and fastest.
  8. I love the first one. I just don't think these meet the 7.5 million dollar price tag. But these would be cool. They would also add a visual icon for the park. Something they lost from the castle.
  9. @YLFATEEKS she was doing a live video and the shop lady told her nobody is allowed to take photos inside shops.
  10. @Aw hype we have the Maze. However the local council are trying very hard to stop the Maze from expanding as they should be half way though their 10 year plan now and they have only done half of stage one out of their proposed 10 stages. Maybe the Maze could purchase the great escape slides even if they are only temp until they can get their new slides. But it is sad to see it go.
  11. For anyone who is interested @Theme Park Girl wrote a great article about DD and the surrounding area. Its defiantly worth the read. http://www.thrillcapitalinsider.com/warner-bros-movie-world/doomsday-destroyer-ride-makes-its-grand-debut-during-soft-opening-of-new-dc-super-villains-unleashed-precinct
  12. Also remember if it is top secret and only high management know. How would their marketing team know.
  13. This is what Adventure World does and I assume the other parks would be similar. When you pre buy your tickets you will be sent the ticket and you should print your ticket. Once you arrive at the park some (like Adventure World) have a separate entrance for Pre-paid tickets. So you simple go to that entrance following signage and present your ticket to get in.
  14. I am going to assume thats why a lot of the theming is covered until the official opening. Same goes with their interactive elements.
  15. @Theme Park Girl photos from inside the shop. Someone most have gotten into trouble!
  16. Hi, Just letting you know there is already a Movie World Fright Nights topic. I don't know the answer to your question unfortunatly as I have never been.
  17. I would say its just standard roller coaster rebar. Photo below of Abyss's rebar. If your referring to this one. I would say again standard rebar for either a station or lift hill.
  18. I don't know the answer to your question as I have never been to MW's Fright Nights but there is already a Fright Nights thread here:
  19. That makes sense considering Water Mountain is not a bad name. Looking forward to seeing this Gold Rush theme.
  20. Maybe they are spare parts for SW's Storm coaster and they decided to keep it at on the construction site.
  21. Thanks Mark for the clarification. I completely forgot about Water mountain gold rush theming. Are we going to see a new name for Water Mountain or will it remain the same? Hmmm no Inferno theming….. Looking forward to seeing the changes in just over a week. Tim -Hope your feeling better Mark.
  22. That looks like so much fun. It looks like KMG just combined their inversion model with the XXL and added more seats. Hopefully we can see Goldenway amusement (people who own Speed 2, Avenger, Freak Out and XXXL) pick one up.
  23. I think an Enthusiast catch up at AW once the season starts. Does anyone think they would be interested?
