  1. I have found screenshots that I took from the council website of the development application. It also mentions potential fast pass stairs and some other stuff like an actual car park.
  2. They got approval for a slide tower from pro-slides with a wall and another 3 slides on the tower. Don't have assess to the plans now but that's what was approved.
  3. So I discovered we don't have a dedicated thread for the maze. We do have a general water parks in Perth thread but not for the maze. So Today tonight did a story regarding water parks in Perth and they mentioned that the maze has got approval fro another 2 water slide towers for the older kids that should be built soon.
  4. Today tonight have done a story about Cirque Extreme with some hints regarding MI3.
  5. I highly doubt that. For a new ride to be built some manufacturers have 2-3 year waiting lists. The park needs to decide and budget a new attraction. Once it decided that they are getting a new attraction they need to shop around for what attraction they want to buy. Then they need to speak to the manufacturer who then needs to fit it into their schedule. From their the manufacturer needs to plan and build the ride at their warehouse and then ship it over. While this happens the park needs to get approval to build stuff which can take months and months alone. (The Maze has taken years to get approval for some of their waterslides) Then the park needs to do earth works and then construction on the ride can begin. MI3 from AW is close to finished being manufactured already and the ride will open in September. Mark told us MI3 was planned a few years ago and the contract was signed in September last year. (1 year out for just a flat ride) So I highly doubt your logic. Do you have any proof to follow your claim. Abyss was also in the planning stages from 2011 for an October 2013 delivery.
  6. At least 2 years. However this is meant to be a major attraction so it will take longer.
  7. I was on DW's website and the Green Room is listed now as closed.
  8. I agree with everything you said however DW have said that they have and will pay all their staff (Permeant and casual) their wages during this period as they understand that the staff still need money to survive.
  9. Look at Inferno at AW. It has been out of action more than it has been operating. It took AW ages to chase up and get parts which were delivered and didn't work.
  10. You forgot: Superman escape refurbishment (Repaint) WWF refurbishment Tiger Cub Kindy
  11. Anyone fancy doing a star tour now and seeing what SDSC looks like.
  12. Take a look at Inferno at AW and all the problems with that huss.
  13. I have been told from someone that it will be replaced with Scooby theming to get it up to fire code and that the theming is being made now.
  14. I heard that they had to remove it due to the theming being classed as a fire hazard. So I doubt VRTP had a choice because they wouldn't leave a ride like this on purpose.
  15. There is one at AW a Moser Maverick 31 which can do the same amount of moments and is slightly smaller. Called Rampage.
  16. I have heard that there is no theming in the dark section any more and that the walls have been replaced with temp fencing.
  17. I believe if you buy the actual DVD. The behind the scenes video is on it.
  18. 1. Abyss 2. Abyss 3. Abyss 4. Abyss 5. Abyss ...... (haven't been out of Perth this year) ?
  19. ^ Or America. Been a long time since a new major Intamin coaster in the states.
  20. Supertubes Hydro coaster is officially listed as open again.
  21. Maybe they are going to close it down forever! (For those who can't tell that was a joke)
  22. I am surprised they went for Buzzsaw before Tailspin, Wipeout or Shockwave. I would have thought the ocean parade rides would have been easier to inspect as apposed to a complete looping roller coaster. But I suppose they do need some of the bigger thrill rides open to draw a crowd.
