Not asked to me, but feel the same way so: By that point herd immunity will well and truly be in effect... so no?

Yeah its a bad idea. Replace the whole thing with a RoboCoaster and then retheme to Suicide Squad.

I think Australian parks saw the whole immersion thing and went "nah". Big rides that can be seen across the parks also have a job of building anticipation, excitement and helps create an atmosphere that so much is always going on. Not saying one is better than the other, just that there are different view points and I think they GC Parks are clearly going for one options (or have in the past).

Seeing as Spooky Nights buffet included a drink on arrival and was around the $45 mark for Adults and $25 for kids, only way I can see the price increase is the hat.

Waiting helps with budgeting and tender processes. For sure the old needs to be removed first. Never implied otherwise but if you remove closer to the new installation you can package together the hires. If you remove first, if would be difficult to package the whole process as the new installation may not be for 3.5 years and rates surely will have changed by then. Not saying this is nice but it's business and as I said, Arkham isn't in the front of the park, it's hidden off to the side behind superman and Scooby buildings.

Fully expect 12th, 19th, 23rd, 24th to open up on later dates too, as they start to sell out.

Eureka Mountain all over again.

When I say recently, the paint isn't faded, peeling or dusty. Recently could have been 2 years ago but from what I was looking at, they looked fresh. And ontop of one of the stone pillars in the station is what appears to be a new bottle of mount franklin water, with their new bottle design/label (not sure how long ago it was introduced though). Would be tricky for a member of the GP to put that there, so people for sure have been in and around there and I doubt a cleaner would leave rubbish like that.

They recently re-surfaced all the bridges over the Vikings troughs and the station looks like it had a quick once over clean. The roof beams look somewhat recently painted. Otherwise no word on it.

Look, compared to last years I don't think its anywhere near as good, but being realistic and completely honest it was a different style. It was really short (as they run it 3 or 4 times a night) There is a minimal firework and minimal pyrotechnic display. Essentially it was just a musical number (which was good) and a few water jets. The lights also weren't as good as last year. My theory is that they did a smaller/cheaper show scaled back due to covid limitations. If NSW was allowed up it would have been bigger/better. I'm not concerned and think this was just a dip in the quality. 2022 Seaworld will have new rides and I hope the monorail running, bringing a new vibe to it and Spooky Nights 2022 will be their biggest ever. Quick Edit: Captains Dinner was well worth the money. Good was nice, drink was good. A dedicated table and space away from crowds was awesome and super friendly staff

Thats a solid idea. Honestly surprised it hasn't been mentioned earlier.

Honestly the website should be backwards compatible. I'm using Version 94.0.4606.54 (Official Build) (64-bit) since I'm on a work controlled machine and they need to approve and push through updates. I also enjoy that the map is a mystery for me. A real hide and seek experience.

So assume the other side will be going down for replacement once the West side opens?

My mates band is playing a set at FearaPhobia on the 30th? Not my thing so sounds a bit odd having them play but Fumarole are a solid band so if you're there on the 30th check em out.

Unlikely. I've tried many times but I just can't seem to get grass and trees to grow on my concrete slab out the back so I doubt Seaworld will be able to do the same. Also that concept art is out of date. Yes sorry I should have mentioned, its the Maintenance shed and can clearly see that when at the park since the coaster goes next to it and not into it. If they want to hide it, I think some wooden cladding could do the trick quite easily. From within the Nick area its not particularly visible as the trees/hedges are quite mature in that space. Also there is a massive wooden coaster next to it that kinda draws your attention anyway. It was super visible from the Tavern though. Off topic side note, I really enjoyed the Captains Dinner at Spooky Nights. Well priced and really attentive staff and just good to get away from crowds and chill out for a bit.

Anyone order a Wooden Roller-coaster with a side of huge metal shed?
