  1. 100% motorcoaster has to go, a retheme in my opinion is a waste of money. An amazing water ride integrated into Rivertown would do wonders. But as others have stated White water world needs some love to
  2. It’s honestly terrible. Main Street was packed because no rides were open. It’s average, and I much prefer Dreamworld and the atmosphere it delivers
  3. Just remember Movieworld hardly theme rides now, they are trying but are failing. The park theming wise has looked the same for years. Bring back a dark river ride like Looney Tunes ride. I feel as with a lot of others Jungle Rush is gonna be the hit. The theming is amazing so far.
  4. Rivals was down all morning, Wild West was down all morning also, Marvin the Martian, Sylvester and tweet cages, and justice league all done from roughly 1030 till when we left at 1. A lot of disgruntled customers, myself included. We just purchased the yearly passes yesterday too, went yesterday most rides closed due to the rain which is obvious, Wild West was closed before the rain kicked in due to a sensor fault. It’s actually disappointing, our Dreamworld passes just ran out so thought we would give village another go, big mistake
  5. New jungle rush billboard is up, sorry didn’t get a photo due to driving
  6. If anyone was wanting to go today, don’t bother every major ride is shut. Was terrible
  7. Honestly pushing s**t up hill to have this ready by December. A lot of work still to be done
  8. Good to hear! I’m taking the kids there tomorrow
  9. Got to agree. I now construction can go quick, but it’s still bare bones in there atm. A lot needs to happen quickly. Be interesting if they can pull it off
  10. Steel taipan had there spinning seat at $15 yesterday, bargain if you ask me and was running 2 trains with a 5 minute wait.
  11. Can’t lie, I’m pretty excited for this, The Gold Coast is very lucky to have3 new coasters opening this year (technically 4) but I’m most pumped for Jungle Rush, once the Intamin announcement is made things will be looking good for dreamworld.
  12. Fingers crossed it’s some sort of water coaster to replace Motorcoaster, that would directly tie in with the Jungle theme
  13. Channel 9 are live now with The Vortex, it’s currently stuck in the air with people on board, a boom lift is pictured near the top too.
  14. All I want is another dark ride like Bermuda Triangle. We are severely lacking a story driven ride
  15. Obviously missed that part, I was only there on Friday and that wasn’t available so it must be new
  16. I use it all the time, saves waiting in line, and doing it by yourself is an arson experience but I do think they need someone at the front of the line where you could purchase tickets instead of being in the gift shop
  17. I’m here now with the kids I’ll try have a look. Only seen the 1 train so far (spinning seats)
  18. Could be purely for expansion/contraction. Either way it will be fixed
  19. I don’t think it’s a public holiday in Queensland
  20. My family and I went 4 years ago, if it was up to me, I’d be choosing to go to DisneySea over USJ and Disney Land. Universal was by far the busiest theme park out of all of them. Similar to say how shoulder to shoulder Movie world gets in holiday period x100. DisneySea was hands down amazing, the theming, the rides were second to none. USJ is great and has wicked rides like the Flying Dinosaur and Spider-Man, but it’s far to busy to really enjoy everything they have to offer.
  21. Yep my family and especially the kids are looking forward more so for Rivertown, than the Wizard of Oz, and we are enjoying Dreamworld far more than Movieworld as of late
  22. Imo disneysea over Disney land if you can only do 1. Tokyo tower is amazing, Shinjuku is a nice city, Akiharbara is cool to see, plus we did a heap of tours to, Mt Fuji tour and to see the nuclear bomb museum was an eye opener. We are going again in 2025.
