I am in line for Leviathan now. It is still testing and hasn’t started taking people yet. edit: it has now tested about 10 times and stalled at the top of the lift hill once. There is one or two people on the trains now (look like tradies). Lots of people in line (and have been since opening) very annoyed they are running carriages with one or two people. One of the trains in particular looks like it is struggling to get up the lift hill, the tradies may be there to see if they can feel if there is an error. Edit2: crowd was getting very restless. Seaworld staff have just communicated that the ride has been handed over to the ride operators and is 15/20 mins away from opening. Jet Rescue hasn’t opened yet and Patrick’s Jellyfish Frenzy is shut too, really average effort.

It now says 150 on the app.

It’s absolutely fantastic to see new merchandise for Leviathan. Seaworld look to have hit it out of the park.

I think they probably need to let the land settle at rocky hollow as well.

Gosh if it went into the island that would be phenomenal, you would have to imagine that Dreamworld is planning on adding some form of 3rd attraction to that themed land at some point as well, just because 2 rides in a themed land isn't lots.

Does anyone know if there is a way to watch the presentation from this morning?

Most of it has a under 24 month timeline too. Mostly finished by the end of 2024.

Surprisingly there was nothing in the bulletin last night so they must be announcing in park today

I still predict we'll find out tonight, anyone want to make any final predictions ( I have no insights so this isn't at all a hint, just a prediction) - Retheme of Madagascar Land - Refurb of ABC, with additional rides (perhaps even a mini roller coaster like Spongebob at Seaworld) - Circus at Christmas - New ride (possibly Mack Powersplash) I think that would be about 50 mill.

I remember the Monster Trucks event, what a disaster that was. No shade and a 10 minute show… awful

I expect we will hear the news tomorrow night as The Gold Coast bulletin goes to print. It definitely seems circus themed, maybe Madagascar land rethemed to Circus "Kenny and Belinda land?! + a new ride Jungle Rush?

I think they might put the ice skating in there, I can’t see if any other area where it could go for white Christmas.

The old midway games were getting quite tired so it is good they are changing them.

Is there any sign of life near the Madagascar entry of them bringing the remote control boats back? It seemed they were doing work there the other day in addition to refilling the pond

Possibly the greater concern here is that while it was a silly move, the fact the barrier could be breached is a concern. It may mean a teenager, child etc.. could breach the barrier causing serious injury.

Let me add more to this as i didn't realise it would spin into a separate topic. Movieworld popped on their instagram today that Rick's buffet has reopened, as a buffet.

This was a really fantastic article. It seems Dreamworld will be refurbishing ABC world, maybe converting it to just a Wiggles World instead. I think the family focus for the next few rides is also a winning strategy. I love the idea of a Steel Taipan viewing platform. I still think it is clear that Dreamworld has a clear recovery plan. It will take time but I think the current leadership is really on their game.
