  1. Excitement about closed containers sitting in a car park won't extend for very long...
  2. Used to be Dine-ins everywhere. Only Kirra left on the coast, though rumours that PH may revisit dine-in's in the future
  3. Yeah, but the mouse is smart, they're rebranding as 'Disneyverse'
  4. @downunder196 & @Santa07 It's pretty obvious they are trying to make it realistic to the comics...
  5. No he's not lieing. The dipping dots guy told me as well. There will be global closures of any themeparks that have the word 'land' or 'world' in their name.
  6. Gees.. I used to have to go to classrooms each day, you get to go to Wet N Wild for school...
  7. Can everyone please print @Jamberoo Fan's construction timetable out and stick it on their fridge so he can stop telling us what he predicted everytime someone asks about timings..
  8. Bastards dug up my favourite car space! im outraged and will never go back there again.
  9. Whilst I can see what you are getting at, SE most certainly is a decent signature roller coaster (and is also large scale depending on your interpretation of large).
  10. What bank charges you for pressing savings on an EFTPOS machine to use your own money? Never heard of such as thing and sounds incredibly illegal. Credit, I understand.
  11. Wrong... completely wrong... Cash & eftpos (savings/cheque) has no surcharge. Pressing credit, or using paywave (which processes payments as a credit transaction) brings an attributed processing charge depending under your card provider (it's not a fixed fee, it's a % of the total purchase cost) Movieworld (like most big business these days) uses an integrated POS system. You can't forget to press EFTPOS because then it wouldn't activate the EFTPOS terminal to pay. The POS system speaks directly to the terminal, as opposed to user input where the cashier types in the amount to be paid. This takes user error out of the equation. It's either a intentional or accidental software issue.
  12. I'm not aware of the actual wording in the relevant law, but unnecessary doesn't mean illegal. It's unnecessary for me to eat dessert after dinner, that doesn't mean I can't if I want to.
  13. Hyper's may not need inversions, but I'll be disappointed if we won't get one with this coaster. SE is a great inversion-less coaster, but I think one of the top 2 coasters in the park should have them. Just my opinion.
  14. You know what they should do, announce that they will start dropping hidden hints/clues and then pick a random car in the car park tomorrow and put a piece of paper under the wipers with the coaster design (no words/dates/distinguishing info) on it and see if said piece of paper makes it to the mainstream media (or better yet, here). Do it everyday, increasing the number of cars daily. Good little social experiment to see who pays attention to junk flyers on their windscreen and will just toss it or not put 2 & 2 together even if they look at it. (I've seen many posts on Gold Coast based social media accounts who have no clue what the development is that currently happening, least of all that it's a coaster) I reckon it would be well over a week unless they lucked out and put it on one of our cars.
  15. I'm still trying to work out how the ground was saturated and storm clouds in the sky this morning at Oxenford when 8kms away where I am it was 32 degrees at 9am without a cloud in the sky and no rain overnight.. weird. What sorcery is this?
  16. I'd imagine staff being satisfied with ride safety would be secondary to the official checks? And if the rides have been Greenlit by the relevant auditors, why wouldn't staff be satisfied?
  17. POPs post has been deleted which kind of takes the context away from my reply post above. Just so everyone knows I wasn't just randomly preaching my thoughts on the mourning process
  18. Everyone is sad, everyone is shocked, but in time you will get over it, as will everyone. That's meant in no disrespect for the families & friends of those lost, but as a reality. At some point, life forces you to move forward and leave things behind. Not forget, but no longer dwell. if it truly has effected you as much as you constantly post about @POP, then you should speak with your GP and get some help - that's not a dig at you, that's a sincere suggestion
