  1. even if that is the case, it doesn't explain why it wasn't done earlier to be ready for now
  2. According to the page only SE, GL and SDSC is closed which other rides are closed
  3. And so ends the most underwhelming and poorly conceived and executed marketing tools in the history of Aussie theme parks….
  4. Luna Park has also just been sold to an aussie pub group - Oscar Hotels. They'll be focusing on clearly the hospo potential of the site with restaurants etc
  5. I think they've erred a little here by just taking the generic "public school finishing date" as their yardstick for opening 7 day operations. Whilst that may fair well in other terms, they are losing a shit tonne of potential business this time around with private and catholic schools all finishing last week, year 12 finished 4 weeks ago, and schoolies attendees on the GC. Unless a bunch of maintenance is being done Mon-Thu, 7 day operations 100% should have commenced from today
  6. recall something similar, there was some magnetic function involved
  7. With a HBO quality level tv series coming out 2026 through 2032, HP will be back at the top of the pop culture game. When your source material is of the quality of HP, you work really need to do anything beyond it
  8. Wicked for all its greatness (both theatrically and cinematically) isn’t going to usurp HP. in saying that, if Wicked holds its own in coming weeks in what is a strong cinema market, and Part 2 lands just a strongly this time next year then a universal land of some sort dedicated to the wicked universe will certainly have demand and relevance The movie is a triumph.
  9. I mean it’s that what you want to extrapolate from that you are welcome. A month from today is Dec24th, so a Boxing Day opening would be “a month or so”. this interview may have been done over a week ago and only now published…
  10. It doesn’t say biggest it says “Australia’s #1 water park”
  11. Plenty of rides survive beyond 20 years… they recent poured money into a station overhaul which wouldn’t have happened with planned retirement on the near horizon
  12. We’ve previously seen Wednesday and I think Tuesdays added
  13. Yeah agree, obviously the later date you book the higher chance you may find it open, but nothing guaranteed.
  14. How so? The rest of your paragraph just seems to show you didn’t do your research beforehand on express passes and studio passes and how they work. That’s not on the park. Kind of what happens when you are in a city that has double the population of Australia. Can take 10mins to talk from one side of Tokyo station to the other side to change lines… Bizarre. Reckon the problem is you trying to cheat the system and save money, not Japan. Prior research would have told you the Japanese are all about order and respect for rules and processes. It’s the only way so many people can move about in a city like Tokyo without everything going to shit.
  15. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1D2i6pT2Rc/?mibextid=WC7FNe looks like fright nights for onlyfans models…
  16. New Atlantis is somewhat understandable as Trident was never planned to be such a long downtime and would have been banked on it being open. WWF closed in May/June makes logical sense, and having that down with rivals isn’t a bad mix. At least having the two WOO coasters now minimises the gap when RR is down
  17. Closing 3 rides and killing one whole precinct which welcomes you to the park, all at the same time is disastrous management. If they do that they are idiots
  18. If you only have 1 day at universal you will absolutely need to get express passes (ideally a 7 attraction) though these may actually be reshaped with the opening of DK Land within SNW
  19. DW has been battered of late in this thread about delays we don’t even know exist, reason behind it, why testing is happening at night blah. It’s all conjecture. and no one has attacked anyone. Time to put your big boy pants on, this isn’t primary school.
  20. You are articulating your own perception of what he said… and it flies in the face of many other comments made and information provided
