That would be a poor and shortsighted decision if they went that way. They haven’t shown to be adverse to running a water based ride post-TRR, they did run RHLR after the accident. Given WWW is back to be being a separate gate, they need a water ride of some sort in the main park. Summer on the Gold Coast doesn’t equate to not having any water attractions

But Leviathan isn’t/wasn’t the final phase of the Atlantis development... maybe Trident has been scrapped due to the economic downturn and diminished revenues... -
Pacific Equity Partners in talks to acquire Village Roadshow

And further from GCB... BGH Capital lobs new offer for Gold Coast theme park operator Village Roadshow Gold Coast theme park operator Village Roadshow has revealed it has entered into exclusive due diligence talks with a private equity firm about a possible buyout. PRIVATE equity firm BGH Capital has entered into exclusive due diligence with Gold Coast theme park operator Village Roadshow to buy the company. BGH previously launched a takeover offer for the listed Village Roadshow in January this year, offering $4 cash per share and valuing the Movie World owner at $780 million. A lot has changed since that offer with the shutdown of the company’s theme parks and cinemas leading to a slump in revenue and the share price, which hit a low of 77c before bouncing back to above $2. Village said this morning it has entered into a transaction process deed where BGH will be given four weeks to undertake due diligence with a view to reaching a deal to acquire all the Village shares in a scheme of arrangement worth $2.40 per share. That is $1.60 less per share than the previous offer and reflects the change in the share price owing to the COVID-19 shutdown. The proposal is subject to a range of conditions including “no further material deterioration in the operating environment or outlook for VRL”. -
Expedition Theme Parks: The History of Dreamworld
Brad2912 replied to Jay Jay The Jet Plane's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Interesting, some factual inaccuracies and mainly rehashing information readily available. I find the title “the troubled history of DW” strange and somewhat silly however, given that apart from the final 2mins touching on the ownership changes, incidents and Longhursts’ dream/plan not occurring, the remainder of the video has no relevance to “troubled history”. -
What should dreamworld do to the murrisipi swamp river
Brad2912 replied to Taj O'Neill's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Teens maybe not, but the family market cannot just be ignored. My son is 7 and is starting to move into coasters and loves SDSC, RR, MDMC, but he’s just as happy going on a ride on the DW Express. Im not in the paddle boat industry, but can imagine sourcing one would be ridiculous expensive, and i seriously doubt there is any chance one would return, however if it wasn’t so financially challenging, I think a river transverse with a show would be a massive crowd puller. Kids would love it as it’s unique, families would love something they could do together, parents and adults would love the chance to relax for 15-20mins, and even the Z’s would probably appreciate the insta and tiktok opportunities it would bring, again given its uniqueness -

I really don’t think AA will open again, ever. She’s had her last circuit. She’s moved into CorkSeaScrewViper territory where upkeep and maintenance now exceeds any ROI, especially with the massive revenue hit parks are facing this year

Welcome @Bikash Randhawa as many have stated I hope we do get some at least periodic interaction with you on this site. having a direct touchpoint with the parks is much appreciated and shows an eagerness to understand and hear your parks biggest and most vocal fans opinions - be those positive or negative. The one thing I can say is the majority here are generally not negative for the sake of it, and any criticism is borne from a genuine love of our parks and wanting to see them be the best they can be.

New Themed Area for Dreamworld Ideas
Brad2912 replied to gavinfulikes's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Naa they should totally build an entire themed land to supplement an entirely out of place gift shop. or... they could move the fairy shop to ocean parade, where all random themes go to die... -
I must have slipped into a coma and missed it all as I didn’t see pages of crap. I saw a couple of unsavoury comments and accusations that sure, overstepped a boundary and deserved to be deleted, but from my memory there was a solid amount of good, informative content prior to that, and even with it....

Why is it getting terminated? A terminated contract means it’s been ceased rather than having expired or finalised. If it is still working for both parties, of which there is no indication of the contrary, it will just be renewed.

Let’s be honest, it’s an awful theme for a theme park.

If they have $10-$15m to drop - go for it and Re-theme the arena and make it a great Mad Max show. I wouldn’t genuinely love that! my thought however is their budget will likely be missing a couple of zeroes off the end of that...

I’d could give you my opinion, but I am not in quarantine so this question doesn’t apply to me.
