Great offering for families and kids. i will say I think it's a bit stiff that they email all the passholders than expired at the end of June with an exclusive offer of $89 kids and $109 adult tickets. Then a few days after the expiry for that deal, they make $74 season paases available to everyone.

Power outage is just a more specific version of "technical difficulty". I don't see why hearing "technical difficulty" as opposed to "power outage" would lead to people spazzing out, as you put it...

I've driven past at about 5:45pm each night since it started. Tonight (Monday) was definitely the busiest, but also had a lot more 'smoke' emanating out of the park. Not sure if they ramped up the effects??

Looking at those plans, it's definitely a replacement for at least the internal part of COTD. I think it would be a great addition, the jellyfish exhibit at Sunshine Coast Sealife is amazing, hope SW pull off something similar

You've lost the plot... having a bad week?? It was closed, and they were working on it. That is maintenance. I don't really understand why you've targeted me given the complete dribble posted by some on these pages, with multiple posters uploading the same photo's and content regularly. I don't post here anywhere near as often as most, and I'm certainly not chasing up votes. I know plenty of locals who will change their minds on their afternoon park plans based on what rides are open. I thought my post would be of use to such people. if My post didn't interest you, maybe you could have ignored it, as i do when it happens.

Don't get your knickers in a knot. it's the school holidays and many people plan which park they are visiting based on the availability of rides. It's not like a new thread is being posted, it's a singular post, in a maintenance thread. Seems relevant, factual, and informative, pretty much the opposite of anything by the GCB.

Yep. Sundays Riddler performer was great, having a good chat with my son who was wearing his Green Lantern cape, about how he should go for green villains instead of heroes. We then caught up with him a few hours later when he was out of the Riddler girls and he remembered him, telling the girls about their previous conversation, even let him hold his gold cane for the photo

You filmed me, filming the Catwoman/Penguin bank robbery show, without my expressed written permission. I insist you remove this immediately or forward me compensation... $100 will do, im not that famous...

a few photos from last night, and today. Have heaps of photos of the parade, but to be honest with only a sony point and shoot in my photographic arsenal, and low/variable light conditions, most are not of the quality that i would upload here (when we have so many skilled photographers that will do much better!!) Awesome to see the original and forever batmobiles out and about, and really enjoyed some of the new entertainment offerings, especially the penguin/catwoman interactions. With multiple superheroes & villains available non-stop throughout the day, i think MW deserves as massive applause for what they have put together.

I heard the Big Red Car with blindfolds was a total trip out.

Glad to hear it went well and the crowd was good inside, I was a bit concerned about numbers as I drove past at about 7pm and the carpark was well under half full

Have popped down for the parade. Will try and get some photos and put them up when I get home. good couple of thousand people still hanging around which is great to see. Love the atmosphere with the old batman instrumental soundtrack playing

Why anyone would dislike that post I have no idea... @SHOOKETH whoever you are.. they have really gone above and beyond, can't wait to check out the new shows/entertainment, and great to see the return of some classic characters my only problem is... and it's a big one for me... who the hell proof read that character appearance times sheet?? They spelt character wrong every time on the sheet (*edit* no they didn't, im an idiot), they spelt appearance wrong (that's the first 2 words typed on the page spelt wrong!!!)

I too have no idea what one has to do with the other, but no one can force you to have your photo taken, it's not like it's a security measure. I've said no many times with my son as then he wants to buy it haha

A If DW demolish the mountain and then go to the expense of building a 'shed' (your words) to enclose the existing ride structure, they are more stupid than I thought.. if you are going to the expense of building a purpose-build indoor arena, you'd utilise it for a great new ride, not for a ride that will wear off the feeling of nostalgia after one ride.. and that's all this ride has going for it, nostalgia. The trains were uncomfortably small unless riding solo or anorexic twins, and the track layout was rough and jolty... and that was before it sat rusting for over a decade...

Ligers are pretty cool actually. Sure DW can organise some private time for one of the lions and a tiger in the two weeks... Would be a hell of a drawcard...

Flash I would imagine is the speed force, pretty happy with it tbh...

I think it's fair logic that they will aim for the school holidays, and the October 'official' date is to give them a bit of breathing room incase of delays
