Looks to be almost identical to last year except Trident should actually be open this time...

Not great tonight tbh..

trident and vortex closed

leviathan running a single train only

JR obviously single train

storm the only ride pumping through some capacity

show identical to the last 3 year, not even a change in scripting or anything - zero effort here.

needs a full refresh

Yes it’s reheated leftovers but the event sold out. Despite the rain tons of families attended and spent up on food, merch and trick or treat buckets. Can’t see park management rushing to change anything anytime soon.

It’s that attitude which is why VTP has gone from the peak to the bottom of the pile.

I’d like to see the breakdown of paid tickets vs free redemptions for annual passholders. One would think the gate itself is pretty small, and yes relying on F&B and add on’s for revenue. But it’s that small minded thinking that is holding it back. If spooky nights blows people away, it enhances their pass renewal rates which in turn brings more people to all their properties through the year.

I agree - but there's no motivation to improve the product while people still lap up the freebie included in their pass. Remember when Fright Nights was included in passes? How packed the events were? Now prices are climbing on FN and by all accounts the events are more enjoyable for everyone.

If you want them to improve spooky nights - be prepared for them to start charging for it.

Happy Halloween at DW is included in the pass and they seem to be improving that event!

DW is in a different phase to village though. They're still selling bargain basement passes with all the inclusions, akin to the VIP pass that included all three parks, plus paradise country, plus 1 free entry to FN, WC and Carnivale.

Village reduced the offering and increased the prices because capacity was at its limit. Dreamworld is still trying to convince people to visit so naturally they still include as much as they can to boost the value.
