  1. Exactly. You expect it out when it's open, but why add 6 months wear and tear for no reason?

  2. Would you buy a new car and leave it sitting in your front yard for 6 months before driving it the first time? It's not a big deal, but 6 months of fading and weathering before your launch is not particularly ideal..

  3. Its one thing having your operational ride being exposed 24/7, like many rides are across the world, But It's another thing altogether having it sitting exposed for 6 months before anyone even rides on it..

  4. There is a bit of a facade going up near the toilets. But that is about all I can see thats different! I might be wrong so please correct me this attraction probably doesn't have a roof so won’t the seats be exposed to the elements once it’s installed? But regardless you would cover it with something at close of park. It is really odd they are sitting there like a bunch of old Looney Tune Boats.

  6. It seems quite strange to me that the seats are out in the open elements, still 5-6 months prior to opening..

  7. Don't lie.. It's tiger powered. Tiger Island is just a front for a sophisticated tiger slave breeding programme. the car is hooked up to 150 tigers, strung up like old fashion sleigh dogs, and they release deer into the subterranean tunnel, which the Tigers chase to the dead end, consume, and reset. The reason for the audible alarm is to ensure no team members enter the 'tiger tunnel' when they are released

  8. So apart from having the seats out in the sun to start fading before day 1, nothing has really changed in a while it seems.

  9. Sorry I wasn't clear. When I said Wipeout was different because the other model lacks the motors to do the flipping I didn't mean there are motors that flip the gondola. What I meant is the motors are of a different spec and the standard model lacks the 'grunt' to 'fling' the gondola around and then arrest that movement. Basically by design the ride is an engineers nightmare and the whole thing is just setup to put amazing levels of stress on every component. It's a pretty damn impressive piece of engineering that it doesn't just tear itself apart.
