I'm a local with a wife and 3 kids, 8,3 and 1. I think the price hike is fair. We live 10 minutes away and go all the time. Especially in summer of an afternoon after school. And if the investments keep coming in then I'm happy to pay.

The new Gumbuya World additions (TNT & PZ) alone really surprised and gave me faith in the park's leadership team, and I really don't know when they'd be willing to spend that amount of cash again, although I guess we could expect a new addition by the time the commonwealth games come to Vic. Personally, I think the Oz Adventures and the kid's zone should where investment is put, just because of the fact that the other VIC parks seem to be putting money into their waterparks a lot more compared to dry rides, and that is an area where Gumbuya could shine compared to FF and AP. Personally I think the next Decade or so of investments should include: - 1 or 2 new kids rides in an Outback Explorers expansion - New adult flat maybe a Larson Drop Tower. - New slide/ slide tower - Another adult coaster to round things out. A smaller scale vekoma would work, even RMC raptor looks to be something Gumbuya would go for.

Looks like the opening date for the rest of the area will be announced tonight. It’ll be a weird experience seeing the area actually open i will say.

They really do need to stop testing updates on a live website..

@Ogre Thanks for the photos. I like the one where the workman is standing next to the statue, it gives a sense of how huge it is. Lol kind of looks like Iron Man at a fancy dress party, and no wonder he looks angry with that Sea World logo on his cod piece - probably not a look to draw the ladies (disclaimer: I am joking).

Australia has too many of this type of ride.
