  1. Got to visit the park on Saturday 12/11/2022. Wow! Truly amazing to see rollercoasters of this scale finally being built in Victoria - it's been a long time coming. Construction is progressing very nicely, but still lots to be done before the Dec 23rd opening. The excitement from park goers was tangible, lots of people taking a look at construction. Below are a few construction photos of TNT. Will upload Project Zero construction updates later today. Lots more TNT construction photos can be found here: https://www.parkz.com.au/search/photos/location/unknown-suspended-family-coaster

  2. Visited the park this past weekend to get some pics of Supanova. As suspected, the slide will feature a "cropped Tornado 60", which makes the element more of a halfpipe than a full cone. Giving it a visual point of difference to all the other Tornado's in Australia. The slide's colours really pop/contrast against the existing Gravity Wave waterslide and the rolling green fields at Funfields. Another exciting edition to a really beautiful park! 3. This was my first visit to Sea World in about 4 months, so I was interested to see what else has happened throughout the park since my last visit. Firstly, they’ve finally removed some of the walls and trusses from the parks entrance. It’s a shame they haven’t all been removed, but it’s a start. And already it feels so much better and inviting. It’s a shame they couldn’t move this into the exit store and completely open up the entry once again. The Lakeside food outlets are undergoing a refurbishment The Dockside Tavern is closed for refurbishment. Most notably, there is heaps of work happening underneath, perhaps Atlantis related. Vortex is closed for maintenance and some of the panelling has been removed and it appeared they are doing so touch/patch up work too The Carousel remains dismantled and the reopening date has been removed Patricks and Ninja Flyer are closed. Is this mesh around the fence of the flyers new? And there hasn’t been any further works on the flume station site. But despite there being construction fencing, they’ve wrapped it in a black mesh, which makes it look ‘nicer’. But it makes me think it’s going to be there for a while.

  4. Excellent photos Luke! I'm keen to try them out when they open. I wonder how well the different colours will hold up in a few years 🤔

  7. Based on a recent youtube video published on the 12th November 2020 the Ardent Leisure Dreaworks Theme Park Shrek, Kung Fu Panda & Madagascar - oh my! Join us for a walkthrough of the "Dreamworks Experience is to be no more, I quote the following from Theme Park Ogre "With the rumours that this area might be closing soon, I thought it was time to do a walk through video! I hope you enjoy" [Ref: Theme Park Ogre] Reported on the 9th of November, Ardent Leisure, owner of Dreamworld theme Park has announced and due to report my month ending (Nov 2022) that a potential $50, million spend is to be allocated to their businesses. In addition and as part of questions posed by investor to Ardent Leisure, the option for accommodation on Ardent Leisure's significant and 100% owned land is still being considered. Having watched the Theme Park Ogre YouTube video (as per encloded link), and what appears to be a lack of busting and swelled Theme Park guess crowds in the filmed area(s), may well provide some credibility that the suggested rumour posed by Theme Park Ogre may indeed have some merit. It is acknowledged that Dreamworks made its First quarterly profit as announced on the ASX since the tragic accident at Dreamworld, Ardent Leisure has resently reported a handsome $150 mill plus resting in slumber in their healthy bank accounts. With a previously announced $75 million 4 star and 5 star caravan park planned (tentatively put on hold) coupled with $50 million allocated to business park improvements. Having a recent theme Park competitor having announced their intent for a possible high rise hotel in close nearology to the park, Ardent Leisure may have missed the boat (opportunity) in regards to their planned 4 star hotel on their 100% owned land. However, a 5 start caravan park in the heart land of Australia's theme Park mecca, applying the $50 million and connecting the business to the $75 million bolt on business may make good business sense on a nimber of fronts. Could the rumour play benefit to a complete re-theme and finally connecting dormant Ardent Leisure land with new business opportunities. Regardless, the writing is on the wall, Dreamworld maybe a completely different experience for guests and as lacking in the Theme Park Ogre video, increase much needed foot traffic at Dreamworld.

  8. Closing down just isn’t an option, they are not retiring that area of the park. A re-theme is a distinct possibility that there have been some indicators pointing towards. The recent results release points to some major announcements within the next couple of weeks

  9. It’s not though is it. Because it’s juts a secondary access point. The path from Vortex is the main entry. But having this way makes it not a dead end. Plus you also have access on the other side of dockside.

  10. If superman was more unreliable I'd say maybe. But honestly as far as the Intamin accelerators go it seems the smaller ones are a lot more reliable. Superman has never had any major issues and realistically as long as maintenance is kept up I'd say it lasting 30 years is reasonable which would mean it's just past halfway through its service life. I feel after 30 years it being replaced with something else probably wouldn't be a terrible idea. But if it's not broken don't fix it
