  1. No sooner were the Fright Nights signs down.......! For now at least, the fountain is still a fountain and not yet a Christmas tree.

  2. Rode today, I was pretty impressed with how many effects were working, even the fog screen was on. Then the final screen was blank. So close...

  4. Backwards is incredible! I could feel the force literally in my toes. The airtime during the last bunny hills are amazing, you literally feel like you’re thrown out of your seat! As it was my first riding since reading everyone’s opinion my expectations were high - I felt it wasn’t as “intense” as I expected but it was a really fun ride and in my top 5 for best roller coasters in the world.

  5. Yeah, the film crew there today was some political thing. Whilst im here, I can’t believe how amazing this ride is. I’ve riden all the “greatest” coasters throughout the US and DC rivals is genuinely up there amongst my top 5. The airtime on those last 3 bunny hills on the backwards seats is the best airtime I’ve EVER experienced. The force throughout the helix is a lot weaker than I expected but it still knocks hard! Mack truly created a the perfect coaster, this coaster is an actual masterpiece.

  6. I'd really like to see Sea World get new rides for the next few years. If Movie World doesn't get new rides for a few years as a result that's ok. Sea World is in dire need of major investment.

  8. @XxMrYoshixX A few good points you made. Ever since Steve Stirich brought the park in the early 2000s they have built new ride after new ride. (Keep in mind a large chunk of the team was there before Mark joined including Andrew) From 2000 we got Rampage and in 2002 we got Power Surge. Then in 2003 we got kids cove phase one and phase 2 in 2004. In 2006 we got the Aqua racer followed by shotgun in 2008. Then it goes to your list above. You need to remember the decision to spend money comes from the board which the owners are on and its not just the CEO's choice. Adventure World is a different park from others judging by my talks at the Park with Ross (The GM) He said the parks strategy is long term and fluid. From rumours I have heard that MI-4 is still coming in 2019. I personally believe that will be in the form of a lazy river and then hopefully in 2021 a nice family coaster for MI-5. Keep in mind there is a lot of room at the front of the park now. Its pretty doubtful the park will ever go the way of second hand attraction due to whats happened with Inferno. (I have been stuck on that ride 2 times in a month )

  12. There will 100% be no new ride next season. The way they have operated is a new ride every 2 years for a long long time. Dating back to 2000. However we will have to wait and see if we get MI4 in 2019 and MI5 in 2021.

  14. @ABYSS I only ordered my season pass last week so I haven't received it yet. Also it's not looking like a great start to the season for AW hopefully attendants improves as we head into summer. Being closed for the long weekend in the holidays due to bad weather is not a good start.

  15. @MickeyD I saw a range of people from large to small little kids on it. I myself am around 180cm tall and found it comfortable. As the Lap bar is the only thing holding you down nothing touches your shoulder. And the lap bar is not crunching your thighs more sitting on top of them. I do hope they fix up the animal area as the next priority. That's the main area that hasn't received TLC in the recent years.

  16. Also in lucky for the Perth Royal Show. Every year the first week of the September holidays seems to have bad weather.
