Exactly this, previously the parks would charter a bus to Helensvale Station and earlier years Surfers Paradise after Fright Night for staff and customers. They no longer do this. A quick look also seems like the Top Golf shuttle also no longer exists.

I don’t know if they even still have the second train, it hasnt been used since before Covid as far as I have seen. Haven’t seen it in the maintenance bay even.

Globe certainly has spun before but it was a bit inconsistent.

Didnt notice the single rider line but on night 1 despite not being listed as included I can confirm those with Fast Track Ride did have an entitlement in the app for it.

i don’t remember seeing any pre shows besides the conjuring So the “bonus rooms” for Fast Track/VIP in each of the 3 new mazes are essentially pre-show/backstory. Saving my review of the event as a whole til after my second visit tonight. DCseased que at the start of the night. 1hr according to the app.

To clarify I was talking about club entry/2 drinks. ($35 staff price vs $75 General). As others have stated though despite being “sold out” ticket for the night in general are still available (as are staff tickets at $44.50).

Perhaps speaking to the popularity of “The Underground Club” a last min staff offer for $35 for entry/2 drinks has been made for the first 3 nights (also the dates that were available for staff discounted entry).

Seems to be some confusion here, general maze fast track includes access to the special rooms. That wasn’t exclusive to the ultimate package. Whilst the package is now listed as sold out in the T&Cs I honestly doubt it would have been overly popular considering all aspects are still available separately. Possibly they simply wanted to change the allocation of fast track with the package to general fast track sale.

SE was also down Saturday (presumably all day, when leaving around 12 it had been added to the maintenance board at park entrance). Indeed it did, even the new Starro projection has been working fairly consistently.

The most recent FT wristbands were individual QR codes and verified so metrics were still available. I see the opposite a QR code on a phone is much easier to share with different individuals than a wristband that should be securely fastened/unable to be removed.

Each ride/scan gives an entry, so not necessarily those that have ridden the most will win (although more likely). Also worth noting the terms have been updated to state a new end date.

Don’t think anyone is under the delusion that it adds capacity to the ride itself. Just that they balance the general que with the fast track que and that potentially this will mean more Fast Track is sold as this “allocation” (if you prefer) is now free. Yes they could simply leave it to the general que but I doubt this when Fast Track is selling out. As per the Fast Track thread “leaks” you can see a paid Virtual wait was an option they were exploring last school holidays.

Yeah I have witnessed this during school holidays. I was speaking of offpeak days when it runs empty 90% of the time.

Those that knew it existed/how it worked benefited greatly, and even those that were late to the party often still could find capacity later in the day. Considering I'm fairly confident VRTP will now simply put all that previous VQ capacity into Fast Track those that aren't willing to pay for Que Priority simply miss out during peak periods. This, I feel their FT pricing is high as but I can't begrudge them charging $40 for a Rivals One Shot Fast Track during peak when it sells out. I just wish they would apply suitable off peak pricing to Backwards DCR like they do for FT so it doesn't run empty.

Perhaps they are auditing the scans and checking cameras to ensure fairness if deemed necessary. My rides yesterday still haven't credited so possibly there is some manual intervention. The point is more they advertised it as a feature to a product (and was fairly simple to fulfil) missed it, and then edited the website. Worth noting too the terms for the Levi quest state it stared on the 18th of July.... this would suggest possibly it took a bit longer to get running than initially anticipated. Out of curiosity I wonder how much is outsourced, we know VRTP was attempting to hire a NFT expert and the platform itself is obviously built upon BlockTrust.

Fast Track for the School Holiday period is now available online $179 now. No more wristbands, they have specified you must use the app. With the discontinuation of VQ and the "testing" that I posted above in this thread it wouldn't surprise me if they plan to launch these new options then.

They have actually done another dodgy here and quietly updated the Website to state White Christmas and Carnivale rather than all the events. I’m positive FN was previously specified. As a keyhole who planned to ride Levi a fair few times today anyway I thought I would try out the “quest”. Here are the self scan stations in between photo screens. Cant comment on the virtual creatures yet as none of the scans yet have registered to my Village Key account.

Already heard a variation of “due to guest feedback”. People hate not having to wait in physical ride ques.
