After riding today and being disappointed yet again I have written a detailed blog post. Bermuda Triangle - It needs some TLC ASAP

I took a dozen photo's today that I will be uploading to flickr shortly, work is still being done (final touch's).

1. This thread is about Wet N Wild Sydney, go dream elsewhere . 2. I dont see Dreamworld/Ardent expanding the Dreamworld brand outside of the Gold Coast anytime soon. I also have just done a blog post on this with some more of the concept images from the media pack, rides list taken from Gazza, but credited Agreed, I am sure some would disagree.. But I see WWW more as a addition to Dreamworld than a stand alone park. Until has has some more expansion/rides. I can go through all the rides before midday generally at WWW even if slightly busy.

Just a small kinda pool fence, it was half complete last time I was there. It did have a "authorised persons only" sign if memory serves correct.

I just hope they do something around the Gold Rush area.. Just recently a yellow fence has been built immediately after the Big Brother Cafe toilets, read into that what you will

I would have guessed that aswell, but that was taken on friday, there is always time for them to do more.

I saw that the other day too, I have no idea what that framework was for, possibly for loading the new cart onto the track or something? I did a blog post on TOT Relaunch the other day *cough shameless plug* GCGuy.net

I rode today, very disappointing. A few touch up's/fixes were done during downtime but I seriously hope the ride isnt going to stay like this, The ride in it's current form is very poor and I can hear guests comments eg. it used to have fire, the spaceship didnt vanish. The whole park was miserable today, with Skyway, Ray Reef, Ocean Rescue and Jet Rescue all not operating.

I have a VIP pass and a Dreamworld pass (although not the current offer). I agree that WVTP is a much better offer/value. My point was how alot of people would see it, nobody would not buy the pass cause of it (already paid anyway) but that it would annoy people slightly.

Agreed You have to look at it from the customer's perspective.. My last WVTP VIP pass was a card why isnt this My $69 Dreamworld Pass is a hard card, This is more expensive eh? My friends VIP pass from a month ago is good, why isnt mine? I can see this from a customer perspective, but can also understand why they did it I am just curious as to wether they still carry a $25 replacement fee . Quick tip RACQ card offers 10% off F+B and Merch and you dont need to get the ticket through them.

Ok, I went to see the "normal" Star Parade today at 3:30 today and was pleasantly surprised to see it has been redone to include the Justice Legue and the Joker and part of the DC Comics parade. The parade had the following today. Sylvester Looney Tunes Castle and Characters (former Shrek castle) Joker Justice Legue Mystery Inc/Scooby (No Van, and it wasnt in the Disco Detectives show either, anyone know where it has gone? ) Batman/Tumbler and Catwoman The sound has been redone and it had a part of the "Villain Brigade" when Joker came down, Scooby Doo theme with Mystery Inc. ect. When the floats come back Bugs and Looney Tunes characters do "I Gotta Feelin" ect. just like the former night DC Comics parade with Bubbles .

I was at Dreamworld today from 11:15ish to 1:30PM Went to ToT first (was my main reason for going) and the line was almost to the bottom of the stairs at the Skull entrance, Giant Drop was almost a walk on (2-3 min wait) both sides operating. Rapids and Log ride was almost no wait and Claw and Wipeout about 10 mins White Water World looked almost empty from the Giant Drop....

I cant imagine it being more than $10-$15, Sunway was around $10 if memory serves.

In regards to the flying fox, this will be a great upcharge for Wet N Wild, I did this at Sunway Lagoon (Malaysia) and it is a great thrill and fit's in with Wet N Wild's target marget (including me) .

^ Im sure on ride photo's would remain, cant loose that upsell Very excited about this relaunch, will make a great ride even better. Now they just need to work on the "thrill" of the motocoaster

I saw the following "renewal" offer for the VIP pass today. So it looks like the new VIP pass is $99 and comes with $10 WVTP giftcard or $299 for 4 people/passes. Valid through till the end of June 2011 and I didn't see any blackout dates, this poster/offer had a August 31st expiry.

My renewal letter for Platinum was a 25% discount in December.

This sounds great Does the VIP pass count as a "season ticket" for the $85 cost.
