↑ there were 3 television crews out the front of the admission gates with all their gear and reporters and security didn't even look at them and here's little ole me with my crappy little mobile phone and they feel threatened by me and tell me to get off the property. Pfft. Pfft!

Leaving the park with my family, channel 9 chopper hovering above the park, me taking a video on my MOBILE PHONE of the green lantern (couldn't really care about the simple safety issue going on with AA right now) and was told by Mr Security Guard Chris to stop filming immediately and leave the premises immediately. Nice way to treat paying guests Chris! Let me reiterate - I'm on my personal mobile phone taking video of GL for the kids and was told to bugger off more or less. Thanks Chris.

Not Scooby! But I said that when they removed the Gremlins ride. would be different to go for a ride through there now with it all stripped bare. I wonder where all the theming is? Hope they haven't just dumped it all and if so... who knows where the dumpsters are?!! :-) Does anyone have like a layout of the whole track as though looking from above through the roof? Cheers.

I hope they make a big Lego replica of Dreamworld! All the rides and attractions built to scale out of Lego would be awesome.

Gaawwww, get out!! Who ever it is will they marry me? I'll gladly adopt the twins as my own!! A few years ago one of the Police Academy Stunt Show cop cars was parked, for a few months, out the front of a house down from where I used to live. That was cool. Thanks @AlexB ;-)

@Theme Park Girl seeing that aerial photo of Bermuda Triangle brought back so many great memories, miss it so much. Know it's prob not on topic, but does anyone have pics of the inside of BT or anyone see what it looked like lights on or during maintenance or something. Would love to know what it looked like/how it all worked, etc. Thanks in advance. Also, what did they do with all those awesome props from inside the volcano? Having a look at clips on YouTube, though very dark, reminded me of how awesome that ride was. Anyone know if any of them survived? Why, oh why did they get rid of BT :'(

The AWU guy also restated this on SKY NEWS this arvo, specifically saying it was the River Rapid and had to lodge a Freedom of Information request to get Ardent to release safety reports or something

IN RESPONSE TO @www worker 2.0 SAYING HE/SHE VIEWED CCTV FOOTAGE OF INCIDENT (I don't know how to edit and include the quote sorry) →It is in my opinion no Dreamworld worker or manager would be allowed to access or view what is essentially vital evidence from a CRIME SCENE. I agree with the above, @www worker 2.0 is a sociopath

102.9 Hot Tomato has just reported that union bodies approached workplace health and safety more than 18 months ago raising grave concerns over the safety of the ride and AS REPORTED BY HOT TOMATO, Ardent Leisure vehemently opposed any investigation into the matter. I don't know if it's just speculation on behalf of the radio station or fact. I hope it's untrue, otherwise we have seen the last of Dreamworld as it now involves gross negligence, a criminal offence. This is not word for word. ADDITION: I am only repeating what I heard on Hot Tomato, I am in no way stating this as fact or otherwise

As a cameraman I've seen more than enough tragedy in my life, this has floored me. No sleep at all last night and seeing that horrible front page picture in the Courier Mail on arrival at work at 3am this morning broke me. I hate to say my work has hardened me a little over the years, but this...this is...what the hell do you say? A lot of people here are calling the media vultures and they're right in saying so. Just remember it's the bosses calling the shots, not the 'lowly' camera operators, etc. They are affected to no ends by tragedies like this. We find ourselves in situations where we are thrown into the chaos as 1st-on-scene in a lot of tragic circumstances and affects us for the rest of our lives. This is in no way excusing the disgusting way the media are 'reporting' on this, just providing some insight into those who are thrust into horrible things like this just because it's our job. The 1st call I got was a report that a carriage on Buzzsaw collided with 'something' on the track. When I got there and realised what happened I turned around and went home, something I can do now that I am freelance. I think the Courier Mail and Gold Coast Bulletin in particular should be ashamed of themselves publishing the photos of those victims caught up in the rides. Will Parkz be organising a tribute at Dreamworld at all? We are a community on here and as a community I would like to get together to pay our respects and express our sorrow while being mindful of those involved. Let's never forget them
