I used to look after residential apartment buildings. Every year I had to fit the "registration of plant" letter from WHSQ into the lift. It always arrived well after the previous one had expired (but payment had been made before the due date so was ok). Never saw a WHSQ inspector. Best I can figure is that the lift service company was self assessing their work to be competent and compliant. As the equivalent of a ride operator (training on operation but nothing more), I had to trust that those above me where doing their job correctly. I think WHSQ only investigate serious complaints and injuries/deaths.

They are running a company to make a profit. It is nothing more than that.

Burger Urge are always pushing the boundaries, gets them free publicity. And with the profit in in that business, they can afford the lawyers. I knew one franchisee, they paid off the setup cost of about $100k in 9 months. That's after wages, franchise fees, rent etc where paid! Mind you they did work 6 days a week each.

You know what, at $99 I would genuinely consider purchasing one each during peak periods, if the wife and I had a day at Movie World without the kids. Particularly for DC Rivals and Scooby Doo. The question is, can you use it during White Christmas? That is buy it during the day and use it at night, or would there be a second purchase needed?

I'm a property manager (residential rentals). These days it's 90% administration rather than being out on the road. I don't know how to fix a toilet, or replace a light fitting, or service an air conditioner. But I have a moderate understanding of how these things work and enough knowledge to quiz my tenants on the symptoms, to help the tradesperson determine the issue. My point is I am earning below the national average wage, but I have some understanding of what I am dealing with. If he had no understanding, and would be earning much more than I do, how did he even get hired to start with?

As the station is unnamed, simply give it a name and update the TV monitors so that it is perhaps the end of one of the lines shown in the queue. Isn't the 'earthquake' meant to be have been caused by Lex Luthor, so would only be localised anyway? But all of that costs money and provides no return on investment to the average guest. Something appears to have changed inside, as there was double doors in facade of the SDSC wall. In your earlier photo of the same area, there is now a single door. There also appears to be works in the old alley section from this photo (possibly more back of house storage?)

Kinda looks like a missed chance to do something with combining the photo screens & ticket window somehow. Some additional lockers could also have gone in towards the external door.

With careful set design, you could have the story change every few months by modifying the projections. Or as suggested, have two track options with different stories (removing the points scored determines course features to spread wear and tear).

Judging by the way the camera drops through the track (and the steel looks a little undersized for roller coaster track), I'd say that ad is an "artists impression".

The cloudy sky and the angle, exaggerate the blue wall, in my opinion. I don't think you can stand that far back square on to the entry, which narrows the field of view to the Castle section. Justice League looks to be similar on the left, with a tree in the way though. Superman has nothing, DC Rivals is pretty sparse. Ultimately once your close to the entrance, the last thing you are thinking about is that blue wall.

I got it, if it's any consolation. 😁 As AlexB said, 1x 7yr old (who talks too much and too loudly) and 1x 15 month old (who can't sit still).
