My favourite part about this is how only just a few pages back we were discussing how great SE is and reliable the launch is. Honestly the only thing I would want changed is the OTSR, fix the queue to go past the lockers before boarding and past the other side of the lockers after disembarking, replicating some OS parks and maybe some reprofiling on the track to smooth it a touch. -

Using the thumbs up as a response to a 'survey' produces false results as its the default "like". Edit: They totally know that though, and want the results to be as sensational as possible to match their story narrative.

Wet n Wild SurfRider taken off website
Naazon replied to Natti_amusements's topic in Theme Park Discussion
If I remember correctly, June/July was the original run/time for the H&V event, and the parade worked really really well at night.- 406 replies

You gave them roses and sang some Barry white didn't you?

I don't think our parks can afford the luxury of a coaster that's "better than I thought it would be". Our parks need something that people see and go "I want to be on you" not "hmm this could be okay, oh wait it's good". It's cool, and a cool concept and we have the space as pointed out by @themagicianbut I think if we're looking for different than the rest, the park should look towards a flying coaster.

Thats neither R G or B

I'm curious if the individual lights in the letters are ARGB. Thats more becoming the norm and I feel if they can't individually change the single LEDs then they dropped the ball. ARGB allows them to do much more complex colour patterns and effects.

Or better yet, don't accept is as an L and accept it as a learning opportunity. Say thanks for the info/insight/research, and move the fuck on.

Honestly, this forum moved from talking about the details, to bashing the details. No one on here is ever satisfied and say "cool, nice work". We just recently had a number of YouTubers come through and yes they called out some negatives but honestly every review of our parks had heaps of positives. For some reason, as a forum the audience here seems to only focus on the negatives. When a positive is brought up, the thread quickly derails into a bashing of the opposite park. About the font? Honestly it achieves its goals. A quick scroll through the dreamworld website shows that they don't stick to 1 font, so adding another to the list isn't going to kill them as a company. The sign is striking, visible, and an effective use of their space. No one is going to mistake the name of that theme park now.

Does it light up pretty and look like it says Dreamworld? Cool. Job done. better than Gold Coast street lights.

Honestly @REGIE takes the cake for most personal growth on this forum. I used to ignore his(?) posts but now I actually read them. He listens to feedback and acts on it. Can't fault there, unlike some others on this forum...........

You can take Storm off that list. They look exactly like a boat crew. Just add a "high vis emergency" vest and maybe a hard hat and its perfect.

I initially read this as tie-dye and was 100% onboard with the park wide scooby theme.

Also a good idea to credit the photo owner. -
You can see both M and W here. The crane connection spot things are clearly different for M and W also, so its not like they got 2 of the same and made do.

The New Atlantis - Reviews & Reactions
Naazon replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
People queuing up, and filling up the spiral section, without extending past into the ride entry. Standard queue. No covid gaps, no one sitting with a picnic lunch. just people in groups standing and talking. -

Dunno, I was there to enjoy my day with my son not perform KPI measurements. I leave work for working. -
Unsure if this is model specific but they have a manual door release for the front doors. The rear doors are BBQ central I guess.

The New Atlantis - Reviews & Reactions

Back to Atlantis. Was at SW yesterday, leviathan was running 2 trains and it was very fast operations. We joined the queue and the whole spiral section was full, wait time was about 15-20min. The was the standard general queue grouper, a grouper at the door into the station and 2 on the platform. -
Please stick around. I want to see more of this out of box thinking.
