  1. As much as I want a cruise ship terminal I am really thinking we are going to have to wait a while before it can get built.
  2. A disneyland in Australia as improbable as it is would serve more places than just Aus and NZ places like Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Timor, Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa and New Caledonia to name a few.
  3. http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/queensland-government/gold-coast-spit-casino-axed-disneyland-could-fill-jobs-void/news-story/7222b36089ac6368a7cf5c01f63f32d2 The state government is meeting with an unnamed theme park developer. The courier mail is currently speculating that the developer is the Disney company. Although I personally don't have much hope that the theme park company they are meeting with is disneyland.
  4. There is the positive side that the second casino license still exists and the cruise ship terminal isn't completely dead.
  5. Dont underestimate how long a disney park can take to get through especially with the large amount of people that visit the parks every day.
  6. Shame blue lagoon closed but I do understand the fear that it would compete with white water world
  7. Hope this becomes a christmas attraction for a shopping centre in Brisbane or Gold Coast. http://nerdist.com/stores-will-get-harry-potter-makeovers-for-a-wizarding-world-experience-this-christmas/
  8. Any particular reason that they added the dinosaur to the river rapids i mean it just felt so random.
  9. Shame what is happening to Legoland Japan. http://lifestyle.inquirer.net/268490/legoland-japan-reduces-operating-days/
  10. Maybe they could add an animatronic or two to the log ride make it more like splash mountain.
  11. Disney has a history of coming close to building in Australia one infamous case is disney wharf in Sydney. Heres some reading material. https://www.ausleisure.com.au/news/how-sydney-almost-got-a-disney-resort/ http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/walt-disney-company-proposed-a-disney-resort-in-sydney-20140111-30nfk.html Plus some reading material relating to disneyland gold coast. http://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au/entertainment/how-the-gold-coast-almost-became-the-happiest-place-on-earth/news-story/fecafaf3c7bea8f69566a1f5c1b2997f
  12. On the plus side I am pleased that the outdoor section for creatures of the deep will stay open.
  13. I think it is just the park although hotel and retail development would be cool.

  15. Maybe village roadshow should do a video on animal safety at sea world and waterpark safety at wet and wild.
  16. Yes at Mt Cootha they were talking about this although I don't know if it will actually end up happening.
  17. Ahh the Ekka bringing back feelings of nostalgia just thinking about the pirates ride and yes i mean both the walkthrough attraction and the flume ride.
  18. I wonder if an alpine coaster built in Australia could have something extra added to it like an animatronic dragon at one of efteling coasters I mean goats on the roof has well goats on the roof.
  19. I wonder if they were to build the fountains they could be used at a stunt show as well as a night time event.
  20. I have not marathoned any roller coasters but have marathoned the sidewinder waterslide at wet and wild about 5 times in a row and once at white water world I did the temple of huey ad little rippers so many times in a row I lost count.
  21. I'm with Alex here as with how iconic the bellagio fountains are for vegas and WoC is for Disney this may actually be an entertaining show for the whole family to enjoy the only problem is that with how much WoC cost to design and build the potential cost could become rather expensive.
  22. It would be cool to see an alpine coaster in Australia perhaps something like at goats on the roof at Pigeon Forge in the US.
  23. My apologies I still haven't posted much but should have thought more but I do still hope we someday see a big rollercoaster to replace sea viper.
