  1. I don't disagree with what you are saying Dj I just gave my opinion about sharing a raft on a water slide and was called a pedophile for it. I'm not apologising for retaliating, because if anyone said that to me face to face I'd do the same. Anyway, as I said above and was more than happy to do, let's just move on
  2. did you not read the post from Joz? Just drop it dude...
  3. No dramas with me. I usually wouldn't bite at snide comments but being called a pedophile warrants a return of serve! Anyway, move along, nothing to see here...Back on topic!
  4. Huh? So because I wouldn't give two sh*ts about jumping in a large raft with other people I don't know I'm a pedophile?? Are you dumb or just plain stupid? While we're on the topic of trying to evaluate people based on their comments - you seem like a 12 year old kid, social awkward, starved for attention and frigid. Oh, and throw a moron in with that too.
  5. thats the problem with today's society - no one willing to mingle with others outside their 'crew' or group. you dont have to hold hands, you dont have to hug each other. You're focused on the ride, not the people next to you/across from you on the raft get over it...
  6. Are you 8 and have stranger danger ? Who cares if you're sharing a tube/raft with someone?
  7. Hopefully not It's a tired & dated concept IMO and DW has enough family friendly attractions. If DW is going to invest it needs to be on something unique (and not Buzzsaw unique) and something big. I don't really expect any attractions of great significant from DW in 2013
  8. Nice to see you are the spelling police around here. Was typing on my iPhone and must have hit a wrong letter and it auto corrected. I'll go back to my normal life while you keep reading through forums looking for typos...
  9. Given the food prices these days probably about $40-$50 if there for the day with lunch etc. As we have VIP/World Passes my partner & I will generally have lunch at home and head in from 1pm-5pm which saves us on lunch. To answer your over Q-probably not. I usually visit with other people that have passes anyway. Would like to see Annual Passes include a 10% discount on food & bev
  10. I go to DW probably 4-5x a year MW 2-3 not including Fright Nights WnW maybe once a year SW only if a new attraction opens that interests me (been once in 4 yrs) WWW 4-5 times over summer
  11. Have to disagree on that point. I've never got more than mildly wet on River Rapids. You generally get soaked on WWF. At least of WWF everyone gets a least a little wet. Due to the tyre having no set rotation etc on River Rapids it's no uncommon that 2 ppl get wet And the other riders are bone dry at the end
  12. Yep just before the Zodiak on the way to HB Land. Was called Top Cats Putt Putt $2 upcharge There was no real theming at all. Just basic putt putt course
  13. 1. Superman 2. Green Lantern 3. Arkham Asylum 4. Scooby
  14. Extremely unlikely to see it prior to Summer 2014 (ie Dec 2014).
  15. In previous years the tour has been after the show has finished, so you can actually go in the house. I dont see the point of touring the stage area and seeing a camera run on tv. What's the point?? Why would anyone pay for that?
  16. havent heard anything contacted MW last week and was told info would be on facebook in the coming weeks
  17. As i said, i cant say it with undebatable certainty. When i was in the backyard after a previous series when you could walk thru, i was looking out for the tower and couldnt see it. Did i step on every inch of space and try and see it - well no, but it certainly wasn't apparent that you could see it. I'd hazard a guess that if you can see it, it may be a glimmer of the top of the tower. I dont think you would be able to see housemates and them see you on the GD - you're removed from society and not supposed to be able to see anyone - that's the premise of the show. I remember when DW was originally chosen there were some concerns that housemates would be able to hear the general public due to the closeness to the theme park - which was proven to be true - but it concerned producers given the 'ideal' situation being that the house is totally isolated from the rest of the world.
  18. Well clearly u are not looking at the right place. The new house is in the exact same location as the previous house. There is no debating that, it's fact. Not 100% certain but I'd also challenge that you could see housemates in the backyard. There is no line of sight from the backyard to Giant Drop due to the raised walls around the complex
  19. U clearly did not know where the house originally was. God knows where u were looking
  20. Thanks for the lesson on climate - i'm well aware of when summer is. GCB usually have massive holes in their reporting, so it is probably not correct anyway, but name me a time when a major attraction has opened in late January or February??? All major openings occur during school holidays, so if it is isn't late december/new years it wont be til the Easter school holidays. Given it's a water coaster though, i'm assuming they will push for Late Dec/Early Jan to maximise summer crowds
  21. The GCB article about WNW's new slide mentions that the secret SW ride will be opening this summer. Guess we'll be seeing it really come together quite quickly in the coming months
  22. The scrub slide...Terrible name. I like your rationale but sounds like something in the local park at Nerang
  23. Drove past ME yesterday and the Batman logo/signage has disappeared from the top of Space Shot. Anyone have any ideas why? surely not a re-theme?? Though given Batman has nothing to do with Space if probably could be better themed/named
