My interest in this venue is as part of a greater precinct being built between WNW and Kopps Rd. As we discuss every year or so, a Citywalk style venue in this area could work well.

Play School Wheel announced - Dreamworld

...because Dreamworld doesn't have any 'this new attraction is yet to open' signs? -
I rarely ride AA - only once every 5th visit or so. Too rough. The seats and restraints are alright. The land space stretching from AA back to the western area including the old western show stage area is massive. Would be great if they added a 2nd western themed ride - but only after they put a family ride in LTRR's building first.

When I went on Tuesday this week, the single rider line took longer than the general line, despite only having 10 people lined up. If the numbers only work out to one or two single riders per cycle, and there's a dozen or more in the single rider line, I'd suggest swapping to the general line if it's no further back than 80-100 people (Green Lantern / Atrocitus ?).

Car Park 2/3rds full, a surprise considering school is back. Two trains on Rivals today. While lunch settles I’m watching Rivals cycle. 8 in a row with rear facing seats occupied by at least 1 rider. The two trims are causing a slight groaning noise on both trains, something I didn’t notice last visit in November. Edit - 13 cycles in a row. FYI @Skeeta / @MickeyD.

Dreamworld - 2017 "exciting" "experiences"

If DW were to get a RMC ride, a Hybrid would suit the park much better than a Raptor. Not gonna happen under Ardent. iRide & Dark Ride/TRRR removal will be the bigger talking points for the next 2 years, with minor family enhancements elsewhere. Assuming DW isn't sold in that timeframe. -

A sight for sore eyes! (Still miss the beach though.) -
You're entitled to that opinion, but it seems like the majority here are Coasters first, other attractions second. And they're entitled to that opinion too. I seek balance and originality. An i-Ride would work well in the Dreamworld Theatre, then a Dark Ride behind it, THEN a Coaster to replace TRRR and Blue Lagoon (RMC Hybrid plskthx DW). MW has the Coaster chasers wrapped up, so an I-Ride is a family-chasing alternative.

Won't it increase the height of the log's centre of gravity? Albeit marginally.. -

Should be great for new angles, at least until the path & bridge to Top Golf opens. -

For @T-bone, @red dragin and anyone else into Dreamworld Railway. I took this photo of Perry on Feb 22, 2005, back when it was still a Steam Locomotive,

Some very severe storms appear to have rolled through Nerang-Coomera area. Expecting to see hail photos at the Parks on social media shortly.

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster refurb
Whombex replied to Theme Park Girl's topic in Theme Park Discussion
As I've said elsewhere (in this thread?), I'd love to see the style of Mystery Inc, but classic cartoon is the way to go. I don't know if MW has the rights to anything bar the movie filmed at the studios. -
Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster refurb

With talk of a significant update to SDSC coming (Parkz interiew with Clark Kirby), I was thinking.. the previous version of the ride I interpreted as Scooby getting so scared, he runs away from the haunted castle ride and the gang joins him at a party* instead. I'd kinda like to see a more involved plot, where they catch a monster and reveal the villain. So in the queue you get a story of a monster and meet a few characters who set the story up. The part of the ride up to the elevator is Daphne, Fred and Velma decide to go one way, Scooby Doo, Shaggy and you go another. The elevator is a trap the monster sets, and the wild mouse element is a chase scene you often see in the tv show, where the monster chases Scooby and Shaggy. The turntable and hairpin corners are you avoiding the monster, with audio in straights of Fred, Daphne and Velma setting a trap for the monster. You catch the villain and reveal their identity before the 'surprise drop'. Maybe keep the MXPX music for the disembark station/walkway to the gift shop. * Unless the wild mouse section was always meant to reference a 'chase' scene? -

If TPG's source is correct, it really is disappointing.
