  1. What brand did you get quick out of interest @red dragin?
  2. That's pretty much me. I bought a One pass Dec 2020 because Vortex had opened and Leviathan would be open by mid year. When my pass was about to expire I even queried if I could get at least a one day ticket to use at a later date in lieu of the ride not opening as advertised during the year the pass was valid (Like what Busch did for Iron Gwazi and Pantheon) But was told no. (That said it wasn't as bad because I got the new WnW slides and Vortex) So now I'm just going to wait until it's actually been testing and clearly going to open, and then buy a pass the day before.
  3. https://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au/news/gold-coast/seaworlds-50-million-new-atlantis-upgrade-delayed-for-third-time/news-story/614d1c75274e71df91d83ef3dccd9707 Paywalled so can't read it....
  4. I mean the same can be said of Scooby, big box with lighting music and smoke, and I’m detecting a common thread between Space Mountain and Rock n Roll Rebel at Aussie World. It def makes it better. But I don’t know how that applies to what they are building, its not the sort of coaster that lends itself to fitting neatly in a box.
  5. Yeah I did I'm just waiting to hear what MW would do in a similar vein to.
  6. I dunno, I thought it was quite jarring having foghorn leghorn in front of a Wild West or Superman themed ride.
  7. Im not sure what the confusion is? Building on the left is the station, building on the right is the maintenance shed. Has been this way for months. The rotating transfer track is pretty nifty though.
  8. I'm old school, No more than 1 ride from any segment, and no more than 2 attractions closed at any given time.
  9. https://www.aussieworld.com.au/special-offers So if you visit between the 1st of Feb and 6th of March you can win a chance to come back and ride Dingo Racer. So that implies an opening date probably from mid march onwards, or more likely the 1st of April for the start of the school holidays. People are on it at least in the pic, so presumably it has passed all the approvals.
  10. Surprised for such a major coaster opening in a couple of months time that they haven't even released the rendered POV.
  11. Did anyone read the comments on that post?
  12. I mean, you could do some "cirque du mer" type thing that kids find boring if you were determined to do something just for adults. Personally, I think you can have a Carinvale type event with fountains and food etc, but Carnivale seems like the wrong underlying theme for SW.
  13. Turns out the earthworks next to the Toboggan weren't the beginnings of the Alpine Coaster, it's a Zamperla Demolition Derby (Same as Patrick's Jellyfish Frenzy at SW) The new slide tower is just some columns at this stage.
  14. Sorry dumb question but how do we know they are new trains?
  15. Thanks for the update, but man you were so close to getting better shots of the whole attraction if you just turned the phone/camera fully sideways, you were almost there.
  16. Many parks also follow AS 3533.2 which is more specific in many areas.
  17. Here's all my photos from my visit: https://www.parkz.com.au/search/photos/location/luna-park-sydney
  18. WWW is contemporary Australian surf culture themed, but its not really the pure quintessential "Aussie" theme if you catch my drift, but more of a tangent. Like if you were EPCOT and doing an Australian themed section in the world showcase, it would likely look a lot more like Paradise Country than WWW (Buildings with big verandahs, windmills, bush rock etc) than something like WWW. Other parks with Aussie themes (Aussie World, Gumbuya etc) seem to be more similar to the Paradise country style too.
