DC Rivals HyperCoaster is now open for preview rides

The concept for the loose item storage area and roatating while on the ride (despite being a similar idea to MDMC), I saw at Universal studios Japan, for the Flying Dinosaur coaster. Thought how simple, cool and efficient it was I hoped one day that exact system would come here, and it had. Well done to MW.

Overall great update, very glad to see shading is going up, but hopefully it doesn't ruin the theming in the queue (I doubt MW would make that mistake), and I can't wait to ride some time over the next couple of days

Great news about shade coming in. Judging from the size of the supports it looks like the awning will be high enough to not effect the surrounding and indeed the ride itself.

Is there an observation area of some kind?

I'd say that Bridge would connect to some sort of observation area (once it's complete).

Nope, the bridge is the surrogate observation area, apart from the new footpath running alongside the length of the ride.
