  1. How so? They installed safety fences at a rail crossing, they are actively repainting their rides and performing maintenance on their water rides during this winter and they left a sticker on the ground from an event that technically ended a few days ago, but it's still technically winter, so the photo ops are at least still relevant

  2. I Fencing has been installed where the train passes at the Sheep Show. Trolls Village is under deconstruction Possible repaint for Green Room? Photo opportunities from Winterfest are still around the park. Pandamonium has been repainted.

  4. Temple of Huey are the slides that are really in need for a repaint. They have so much bird shit on them and faded to buggery it's not funny .

  5. Adventure Park near Geelong have just announced their new waterslide for the 19/20 season, the triple funnel four person raft slide called Tsunami, located next to the existing Tornado Slide. It's expected to open in November but unfortunately guests will still have to carry up their rafts, as the conveyor is not scheduled to be installed for another 2 years! Still it's great to see the Victorian parks continue to invest in new attractions. Funfields is now the only one remaining who haven't revealed their new 19/20 attraction.

  6. 100% right @Jdude95. I mean they are doing annual maintenance. It's a part of life unfortunately. I know @AlexB and I discussed this either in this thread or elsewhere. It makes sense to do the maintenance during the cooler periods where not many if any guest turn up. Also means they save on staffing cost. Essentially it is actually a win for the park. Save on wages, gets important maintenance done.

  7. Unlike some gates in Perth, construction continues at Outback Splash. The staircase is progressing nicely on the Polin Waterpark’s slide tower. The park is looking nice; although the original water playground could do with a repaint. The Outback Snack’s kiosk now has a verandah. There’s a $5 mega sale of the park’s merchandise too.

  8. Good fun ride experience. But a shame the conveyor is not being installed. Those clover leaf rafts are really fricken annoying to carry. I am sure people will have a lot of fun getting them up the stairs and around tight corners.

  9. They really need another dry ride. I would have thought an Alpine Coaster would have been a great way to replace the old toboggan. But you never do know what the future holds. Interesting to see what other things have want to go ahead with in the future. I know the plans have changed a little over the years. I like the idea of things changing as it keeps everyone on their toes.

  10. Sad to hear @Jobe. I'd give it not until after 2022 at this point - assuming it ever goes ahead - though it was highly likely to not be built until after 2020. Interesting he wrote "upcoming development applications" as all known future rides have already had a development application submitted for but it is likely he could have just been saying that for clarity. Still the more interesting question has not been answered: Since the alpine coaster was initially part of their current plan for the 2020/2021 season, what made them change their mind?

  11. Dreamworld wouldn’t be to concerned because it’s secluded at the back of the park. Although it is disgusting and makes the slides look dirty.

  12. I recently contacted Jamberoo and asked if the Alpine Coaster wasin the scope of their future plans. I received an e-mail back from Matt George, the General Manager for Jamberoo. He wrote There you go. Disappointing news really, as I feel that this would have been an excellent attraction for the park to add- giving them some further scope beyond their wet ride offerings. Hopefully this idea will be revisited at some point in the future. Mind you, I think an Alpine Coaster installation would be an excellent choice for Scenic World to replace the rusting remains of Orphan Rocker.........
