Something like this would be the PERFECT replacement for Arkham Asylum. It's well themed, and it's actually about movies in general rather than just being Superhero themed, something Movieworld needs desperately. It also looks like something the whole family can enjoy.

Said it before and I will say it again........MOVE it to Seaworld!! Its such a wasted ride at Wet 'N Wild!! Management just need to admit that the experiment of putting a thrill coaster in a water park has failed. The logic is simple and the timing could not be better. Despite the upcoming Atlantis precinct and the 2 new rides opening, Seaworld is still in desperate need for more attractions and a rethemed Intamin Half pipe coaster would certainly fit the bill here. It does not take much room and could easily be fit into the park in any number of locations. Just do it already!!

In a world where DW isn't on life support, it'd be nice to see a boat ride go back on there. Doesn't have to be a big paddlewheeler, I think that ship has kind of sailed but something more on a Jungle Cruise or Snake River Expedition scale would be a really nice way to get a 100% family friendly ride in the park and get some kenetic energy on the river. Doesn't have to be themed crazy either, just have it be a nice leisurely boat ride.

Thats actually a brilliant ride. It doesnt require any one IP- as you said its Movie related which is what our Movie World is in desperate need of!! Love the concept this would be an absolute winner!! Its an Intamin which is quality and the theming throughout looks excellent without being prohibitively expensive!! This is so new that RCDB still lists it as under construction!! Buy the rights and build a clone now!!

Still amazes me how UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE people are on here. Maybe if they looked at how they act and speak and their own behaviour first before commenting on others. Who cares how many people are active on a site or page. It’s called being professional and people seeing that. Hence the invite. For an enthusiast page there’s awful a lot of hatred from the same old bunch, grow up people.

Here's a couple pics from today, Asphalt has been laid around all of Big Dippers concrete footings, Sledgehammer does have a lighting package only on the 4 supports and the Hair Raiser also received a new lighting package that is really cool like the Ferris wheel but i don't have pics of that just yet, Hopefully Sunday or Friday i can get something, What i think is Boomerangs ride photo camera was being installed today and the bug canopy is almost complete and displays the sledgehammer sign on it, And of course as posted earlier we now have more BD track installed

Last time I spoke to DW, they were working on preserving their history and organising some kind of showcase to display things like the Rocky Hollow sign. I guess that ideas has gone the way of Hollywood House

There are still plenty of TOT mugs available if anyone wants memorabilia

I think theming and memorabilia are a different thing to functional spare parts from the ride system.

Sledgehammer is not the same ride model. That is a Zamperla Giant Discovery, Sledgehammer is a Discovery Revolution. Same manufacturer, that's all.

From today’s final visit before the Friday night opening, The lavender green white construction fence was removed and can now see cloud 9 from a better perspective, I got a close up on Boomerangs ride photo cam and more progress on Big Dipper, They have extended the Glenn street stairs closure to the 31st of August, nothing much to really see now since we are less than a week till reopening, I’ll get some pics on the annual pass holder event
