by the looks of it i guessed correctly here. (credit: mittythemeparks instagram) Orange Track has shown up at Gumbuya World, which appears to be vekoma track. i wonder if this is going to be one of their family models (inverted, family boomerang, average family coaster model) or if we could be seeing something a bit more, thrilling. there is a mystery next gen Tilt Coaster instillation happening outside of the US, would be cool to see that here.

Yeah its exciting news but I do not think we should raise expectations. The most likely outcome here is that it is a Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster , most likely this model. Still exciting and it makes the most logical sense at this time. The current Mine Coaster fits the bill perfectly for a kiddie/family coaster This new coaster would be a great family attraction with mild thrills. The former Buzzsaw coaster is their headline act for their thrill market. Not bad for a small regional park in Victoria!! The other parks will definitely need to sit up and take notice and perhaps plan for a response. Good times and shows the growth and reach of the Australian amusement park industry.

The store has been painted Also, I’d like to commend the park for seeing to some of the things raised in this discussion. The park was looking much better today. As an example the Rivals banner has been replaced But also, gardens were looking much tidier. The damaged statues in Doomsday were repaired, it appears they started to replace the billboards in the area too. The Killer Croc water is turned off so it doesn’t flood the area. The damaged license plate was also removed. Some shade sails throughout the park also appeared to be new as well. There is still plenty to do throughout the park, but seeing these changes today is very promising. Well done to the parks team.

WTAF when has that even remotely happened?? I know of former staff being burnt by members of this forum and current management but I’m sorry no DW management have been ‘burnt’ by parkz. Back on Topic. FWIW my family always thought it was cheap poor form of Wonderland to open Goldrush late given you could walk there in about 5mins from the entrance. Likewise we felt the same about DW opening rapids late so no bias. Whenever you run a ‘unlimited bla bla bla for one entry price’ attraction and then have parts of it closed during the posted opening hours guests will be upset. Just as with Wet n Wild cycling sides. Its stupid that a much overdue GD refurb happened so close to ST opening but current management can hardly be faulted for that. They inherited the problem. They really have a no win situation on this one. Waiting until a major new area/attraction opens to remove a monorail however… 🤔
