  1. Isn't this sign going to end up in the bin anyway after the Christmas holidays?

  3. I think perspective needs to be readjusted here - The area is about to be completely redeveloped and themed. This kind of signboard is probably going to cost thousands to have redrawn, printed and prepped and finally hung... for what, a few months? Yes, it's a poor effort. They could have printed more than the head to cover up the other parts of Emma. they could have reprinted the hands in a darker colour or drawn new ones. As mentioned, the Wiggles have probably asked for it to be updated, and I've no doubt this would have been run by their branding team to ensure it was acceptable (and if it isn't, i'm sure it won't take long for someone to notice this forum and take steps to correct it). But just to repeat my earlier thought - I doubt the kids at 'wiggles fan age' are going to care.

  4. So DW didn't care about it and just slapped it on for the concert last week.

  5. I don't remember praising DW for it.

  6. Maybe if they have a new slide tower behind Project Zero/The Break it could be installed? However most likely it would be brand new slides from either ProSlide/White Water West (funnel etc.)

  7. Visited the garden today, the plants put in are now well established. There’s very light ambient music playing from speakers back nearer the main path, and this helps to drown out a lot of park noise. As the garden drops away from the path, even Motocoaster’s noise isn’t too loud. I can’t say I’ve been here though when the east side of Giant Drop was operating, but that ride’s frequency shouldn’t be too distracting. The train is coming downhill here so isn’t loud either, despite passing by just on the other side of the path. Whatever goes in where RHLR was, I’m sure they’ll maintain a buffer, likely a natural one. The names on the seats are still there. No signs of people using it for smoking. I don’t expect to be coming back to DW until River Town fully opens, so it was nice to be able to spend some time to pay my respects. Not that I knew any of them, but it could have been anyone.

  8. But the rides are going to be open for the next 20 years probably. If i were managing a park, id probably pick a a different day so the news crews come out to me and are not competing with someone else for attention. **** Also, DAE reckon its actually going to be a fair bit of a drop into the saucer. Should be a good start to that slide.

  9. Universal had the licence prior to the fox buyout. Same situation as Marvel. Also, have you seen the size of the building they use vs what we have?

  10. Thank you @Luke and @New display name That does make much more sense! I don't see why it's so hard to simply say, hey I think this is what they had in mind, instead of just shitting on someone for having an opinion. Hello @GoGoBoy, thanks for the welcome! It's been a slightly rough start already but I'm slowly getting a hang of the vibe around here the more I interact

  11. No one wants to be aligned with Ten. They are an abomination of a failure in every sense. Everything they touch turns to shit

  12. Grammar Nazi here. This reads like it was written by either AI or someone who uses English as a second language. I can understand churning out garbage fluff articles for free websites to drive traffic and ad revenue, but this is behind a paywall and the standard should be higher. I guess we at least can make some bad poetry out of the mistakes. Best-remember thrill ride. Was famous for giant double loop. Paves... will herald some exciting developments - Gold Coast Bulletin, 2022
