  1. Everyone is different. Upside down is scarier than launches for some, some find launches scarier than upside down. There is no 'This is more thrilling than that', it's all personal.

  2. The forces, elements and thrill you get from the ride is why i labelled it as a family thrill, it’s a pretty slow, force less and just enjoyable ride. i left it out on purpose, i thought it would be clear it would be at the top considering the ride it is so i couldn’t be bothered to include it. Superman is definitely more thrilling then GL, just because a ride has inversions doesn’t mean it’s more thrilling. The launch on SE alone is more forceful the anything in the rest of the park, the rides forces and airtime are very strong, the pre show is very fear inducing (for first time riders) and helps build up fear, its definitely way more of a thrill, i know my GP friends think it is way more scarier then Rivals.

  3. Yeah GL is more tame but the look of it scares a lot of people. Same reason GP say maverick is tame it’s the look of a ride more then the forces that give it the rank

  4. It may have more thrilling elements, but when speaking about “family” thrill rides, inversions usually move a ride out of that category. Imo nothing with an inversion will ever be family friendly ride My son is 10, and he’ll do superman without a problem but GL is a no go due to inversions, and his entire friend group is the same. Many do Rivals but won’t go near GL. I’d argue the slow arduous nature of the inversions on GL make it a tougher sell to younger kids than say Cyclone that is a quick and done inversion

  5. I loved Gronalund, it's such a gem. Haven't been since 2014, so no Monster for me. Their mindset about an amusement park is so cool, they extended the drop on Jetline to make it more intense for example. Twister is a fun woodie. They also have a rivalry going with Liseberg, it's just a shame they don't have the space to do something of the magnitude of Balder, but the way they cram things in, who knows what will happen in the future.

  6. A Mack Big Dipper along the lines of Lost Gravity would be my pick. That ride is criminally underrated!

  7. Security should remove them from the park. Morons

  8. I will never understand the foul mentality of people who visit a theme park and yell at the staff.

  9. Add a new movie in the mix too! I don’t ride SV anymore because I’m sick of the same AUS movie… Where’s Canada? Europe? Africa? Something fictional like a Space Adventure? Heck, even chuck USA back into the mix again!

  10. When the additions are completed in 2024, I would LOVE to see a remake of this ad. Some rides would be changed to fit the modern era, for example instead of the Eureka Mountain Mine Ride they could use Jungle Rush, and Steel Taipan instead of Thunderbolt. Greg Yong has changed things for the better IMO and is bringing Dreamworld back to its roots.
