  1. Curious timing - DW posted pictures of crates that had landed at the park, and suddenly MW is posting pictures of crates that are in-transit...

  2. I’ve got the pictures now, I shall attach them below. Sorry for the poor quality, I forgot to turn on cinematic mode. (added pics too of vintage cars and jungle Rush in general. There appears to be more grass photo opportunities, but the vintage car has been removed when I went. There is a big red car in the corner of a picture, the rest is off camera).

  3. Every time I’ve ever gone to Fright Nights (probably about 8 years I’ve been) I’ve always managed to do every maze at least once without any fast track. And some years I’ve been able to do at least one ride. You should go to White Christmas then, or visit the park during the Heroes and Villains event because the parks open a little longer and it’s dark before the park closes (because it’s winter).

  4. I mean, WWW was built out of a lot of carpark - it wouldn't be too difficult to expand into the bottom end of the carpark next to Hydrocoaster if they really wanted to, but I do agree with your sentiments - the Thunderbolt land should be reserved for WWW.

  5. I honestly would hate to see that space used for anything but a WhiteWater World expansion. There are other areas that Dreamworld can expand if they really want to but there is no where else for the water park. The ride actually does pull some pretty decent forces as well (in particular the helix and the final vertical loop). Even if it's a simple ride mechanically the ride still only has a limited lifetime. Look at other Arrow / Vekoma loopers from the 80's / 90's that have had track replacements done to it. I do hope when that time comes though, that they maybe look at something else for that area but who knows. I don't think we would see a new "Thunderbolt" though. As much as I love the nostalgia they are doing, I don't think they need to re-imagine every last thing that Dreamworld has done.

  6. Yeah but lets be honest I'd say most of the reason would be because of the awkward design of riding on a motorbike that has nowhere to stow a bag. Incredicoaster goes over guests and its not like there is catch netting, its all open steel structure that stuff can fall through and bounce off. So therefore the reason would likely be due to the exposed train design of tron:

  9. At the top of the lift it's 'Get down, it's ganna blow!' followed by an explosion sound and strobe. Wild West is 'Get out, she's ganna blow, out now I tells ya' Eureka's was much slower and deliberate, where as the Wild West one is more frantic and has the hillbillies accent. That concludeds today's episode of 'Things Joz remembers that no self respecting adult should'
